Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem Didn't Boom During Musikfest: Pro...
Now that it is built, it does seem like it was planned to be and "island" unto itself. The sidewalk connections are bad, the Loop bus isn't very good, and the bridge and surrounding landscaping seems to make it feel even more isolated. One bright spot is that the green way is moving forward across the street (Aug 19, 2009 | post #5)
Plastic takes on vintage glass
Recycling glass is better for the environment than recycling plastic (the plastic bottles can't be made into new wine bottles). (Aug 11, 2009 | post #3)
Boscov's: Boscov's to receive $43.7 million federal loan
I don't think private businesses like Boscov's should be receiving this type of gov't funding...BUT, your use of name calling, slurs, and stereotypes is JUVENILE and OFFENSIVE (Aug 7, 2009 | post #25)

Pa. House Democrats pay selves first
This is sort of a "so what?" article. So what? If it had been the Repubs who got paid first, would it even have been news? (Aug 6, 2009 | post #61)
Boscov's: Boscov's to receive $43.7 million federal loan
Boscov's should have either changed their merchandise to make a PROFIT or gone gracefully out a business. If they can't make a profit selling the stuff they sell, they need to rethink what and how they sell stuff OR go out of business. Isn't this how capitalism works? Yes, another PA company goes under, but who's to say another PA company couldn't take its place. Fortunately, this seems to be a LOAN. But if they eventually do go under, who's left holding the bag?... We are. (Aug 6, 2009 | post #8)
Mayor Pawlowski agrees to delay building playground at Cedar Cr...
Looks like a nice park. It would be a good addition to an already great park in Allentown. Maybe the city or city residents might want to set up a volunteer program to help build it to decrease the cost. Sort of like a "habitat for humanity" for the city. Just a thought. Does this Molovinsky guy live in the city of Allentown? If not, it seems odd that a NON-resident of Allentown has such strong opinions about a park in Allentown. (Aug 6, 2009 | post #55)
