Why Bob, y'all have a little tarnish on y'alls traffic reportin' award with this article. This is hardly a story of interest, nor is it new news about the SS numbers. It isn't likely this is this nice lady's first merry-go-round for a major purchase. She's well aware of the system and how it works and why. SS numbers are needed to get temporary tags and whatnot. She certainly wasn't goin' to flatbed the car from the lot to her home and then get the necessary tag and transfers on her own, otherwise y'all would have reported it.
