Assault injures 2 city officers n A drunken former Marine...

Spectator You are so right. I live in a city with a large military community. I have three bases within five miles from each other. We hear about these cases all the time. It is heartbreaking. We can send them off to fight and then ignore the issues when they come home.  (Apr 7, 2010 | post #6)

Auction scheduled Monday

I wish the Hale family all the luck in their fight to keep their family's property. I know in these hard economic times people all over are struggling to make ends meet. Nobody deserves to lose what they have built for generations.  (Feb 11, 2010 | post #1)

Parents of scalded Worcester tot get jail time

I wonder how they would like being scolded like that. They deserve more jail time than they got. Parents are supposed to take care of their children and make sure they are safe.  (Jan 16, 2009 | post #4)

Courthouse plans a go

The Lease on the building is running out and will not be renewed. I dont know what they have planned for the former schoolhouse but i am sure it will probably bring in more money than the taxes collected on it now.  (Jan 5, 2009 | post #3)

Lee family donates medals from Vietnam

This is a wonderful thing that the Whalen Family is doing. I never had the pleasure of meeting Micheal but I did know other members of the family, especially his Mom. When you grow up in the same town, you are all connected in some way. I just want to thank the Whalen Family for donating something so personal to the town to keep Micheal's memory alive.  (Nov 12, 2008 | post #3)

Lee: Small-town values still commonplace in this growing ...

I also grew up in Lee. It has changed over the years, like so many of us have but it really has not lost its small town charm and appeal.  (Oct 30, 2008 | post #4)

DA: Criminal charges possible in boy's Uzi death

Who in there right mind lets an 8 year old anywhere near a gun like that. I think there should be criminal charges brought against the father and the dealer at the show. That is just negligence on both of their parts.  (Oct 28, 2008 | post #1)

Peabody police will get Sept. 11 pay

Why should they get paid holiday pay for 9/11?, If they want to so something on that day then it should be a memorial service. I do not believe they should make that day a holiday. It is not a day for celebration but a day for remembrance.  (Oct 21, 2008 | post #1)

He feels like a million dollars

Ed is probably in his late 50's or so. I have known him and his family for a most of my life and trust me, they do deserve this. They are some of the most giving people I know.  (Aug 29, 2008 | post #19)
