Bosley for sheriff

If JimmyG-spot is voting for Bowler, than I'll cast my vote for Bosley. I do agree with the G-spot that Pittsfield's politics are as corrupt as they come (especially Mayor Rob-erto), but not on this one.  (Sep 13, 2010 | post #9)

Scott, how can you agree with the above poster, but are quoted as wanting to "expose myself in a mens restroom." Seems kinda ironic doesn't it?  (Sep 13, 2010 | post #20)

Why Vote Bowler?

What position have you been promised if Bowler gets elected? Try answering some of the questions people want to know about Bowler. You seem to know him so well, although I don't know if I would brag much about working on the streets w/Bowler, crime is out of control (stabbings/slashings), increasing gang problems, drugs are out of control, why did Bowler never try to promote?  (Aug 20, 2010 | post #22)

Sheep....I mean Spider, I do admit that the Donna Spitoon and "the issues" is getting old. I was thinking Bowler all the way at first, but I do have to say that the poster has almost nailed it on the head. Tom Bowler does not seem to be very straight forward or prepared when he was questioned at the debate. When a speaker starts talking "collaboratio n" and that "he'll have to look further into the problem," then it is very problematic w/me as a voter. You should be prepared. I unlike the uneducated masses, want to hear what each person is going to do to get funding, improve jail services, and law enforcement, as a whole. We know Tom Bowler is a 24 year PPD officer-ENOUGH ALREADY about it. Running the jail is not typical police work. It's corrections (i.e.-baby sitting). All of these Bowler supporters keep getting on here and letting everyone know about what Bosley will/has/has not done, over the years. How about telling me why Bowler never wanted to promote or who at PPD is going to have a cushy job waiting for him if Bowler gets elected? Convince me why Tom Bowler deserves me vote.  (Aug 19, 2010 | post #20)

Jimmy G, you keep denying everything, but I'm beginning to think "where's there smoke..." People seem to mess w/you non stop, why? As far as IP address goes, it's just where the cable/cell connection links to. I live in Lee and sometimes my IP address shows up as FL or SC. I wouldn't start spewing your conspiracy theories yet.....see, you even got a sheep (Spider) to following you.  (Aug 19, 2010 | post #19)

Is there a need to post this?  (Aug 18, 2010 | post #10)

Jimmy G, dont let these idiots on here get to you. I'm not a Ruberto fan, but you calling somebody on here "disgusting and libelous" is rich. Reread your #3 post-especially the last sentence.  (Aug 17, 2010 | post #8)

Congrats Jimmy G. You and I haven't always seen eye to eye on Topix, but I wish you happiness. I like the name of Tangy Gleason. Keep your last name.  (Aug 17, 2010 | post #2)

Drug lord gets hard time

If this guy was linked to a "violent crime wave," why is the "drug task force" slapping each others **** _es and celebrating a dirtbag getting a 10 year sentence, they should be disaapointed they couldn't investigate this guy properly and put him away for 30+ years with the "violent crimes." people don't give a fu_ck about you as_sholes putting him in for a few years, when you could have dug deeper and put him away for basically his life.  (Jul 30, 2010 | post #40)

Mayor spared ethics penalty

The mayor is spending $$$ on a painting of the intersection of Maplewood and North Street (Pittsfield's Red Light District). The painting is a themed-painting, kinda like Rockwell's Runaway painting. For those who don't know, it's the runaway kid at the dinner talking with the state trooper. In this case, the artist is going to capture a couple of Brooklyn thugs selling heroin to some white kids (Great Barrington kids) driving a BMW. Meanwhile, the crack wh_ore is trying to drum up a little business with her pleather coat, mini-skirt, and some missing teeth in her cheerful, but all business smile. This is all taking place under the moon lit sky, street light illuminated street, and all this is going on, while the unnamed Pittsfield patrol sgt sleeps away in his patrol car, parked in the doctors parking lot (visible to all passer-bys), with his windows rolled down and the car's dome light on. In this portrait, instead of giving advice to a young runaway child, the person viewing the painting can assume the sgt is dreaming about solving "the big case" or was so over-whelmed with the beauty and joy of the theatre district that Lenore so elequently described in her "letter to the editor" in the Berkshire Eagle, that he just mentally shut-down, remembering the banners former Pittsfield Mayor Gerry Doyle once hung in then a vacant downtown Pittsfield, claiming "It's Happening!" Wow, art really is in the eye of the beholder.  (Jul 28, 2010 | post #115)

Live on Lake a traffic headache

Not only do I park in the handicapped spots at Walfart, sometimes I park my truck side-ways, taking up three spots. As soon as I park my truck, I get out do jumping jacks and then jog towards the entrance.  (Jul 28, 2010 | post #39)
