I have given up on White Pond with this project. The ride up the hill throught "the Heights" is much prettier.  (Tuesday Jul 29 | post #2)

Akron's tap water yellowish but safe

Dennis, I already had all the "Officer shooting" threads pulled by telling people how to find you. Do you really want me to ruin the "Akron's Yellow Water Thread" too? Please go away and let us NEOs discuss our own news. Thank you.  (Monday Jul 28 | post #60)

Car crashes into movie theater

Maybe she was ticked off at the high prices of Mustard Seed and decided to take it out on the poor old theatre. In retrospect, she should have gone to Old Navy. Or, maybe the movie just plain sucked.  (Sunday Jul 27 | post #10)

Akron-area foreclosures up 59%

Made the mistake of going to CNN.com today. Their "poll o' the day" was on this issue: (I paraphrase) The Congressional bailout of the banks is?: A: Necessary to stabilize the economy. B: The result of reckless homebuyers. ????? No, C: The shift practices of banks that are about to be bailed out by our government. Don't forget people! The banks did not have to give out these loans. They CHOSE to give out these loans and are now paying the price.....er, my bad, being bailed out with our tax dollars. MSNBC - gone Fox - gone CNN - now gone Does anyone know of a reputable news source?? I am taking suggestions at this point.  (Sunday Jul 27 | post #32)

Thompson arraigned in police shooting

Ya know? It is almost like his posts are created with some kind of "random word generator". Maybe this is some techie messin' with us??? Wishful thinking I guess. It saddens me to know that people like him exist in the world. At least he is in the next state over instead of ours.  (Saturday Jul 26 | post #268)
