Do you feel any safer from terrorism one year after the d...

The killing of OBL is not, by all means, the end to Islamist Fascist network of terrorism; it is like fighting the Hydra the Greek mythology monster with nine heads; when struck off each head was replaced by two new ones. The Terrorist are not bound by having definite and highly organized structure they operate in a loose configuration of local cells. Take a look at the Times Square bomber, the shoe bomber, the underwear bomber, even Timothy Mac Vay. To the terrorist, their mission is to induce as much damage and destruction and the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear. The killing of OBL did not end the call to global jihad.  (May 1, 2012 | post #17)

2012 Presidential Election

Obama strategist sees Republican reign of terror in Congress

At last a breath of fresh air; you are 100% correct, my dad was a retired US army who became a trucker and teamster after his Army retirement, my mom a seamstress and union organizer for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, they taught my siblings and me work ethics, and the prestige of earning our way. I left home at 18 years of age joined the Army retired and got a job in the civilian world after 28 years Army. Today most kids, especially minorities, whom are enslaved and raised under the guise of the Government Welfare System with an entitlement mentality, believing that it is the Government who owes them everything. It is the Democrats who perpetuate poverty, and encourages, and foster the entitlement mentality who keeps the new Hispanic immigrants, and the Afro-American poor, i.e. look at the inner cities of the US from New York to Los Angeles, Detroit to New Orleans.  (Apr 26, 2012 | post #99)

2012 Presidential Election

Obama strategist sees Republican reign of terror in Congress

The mantra of the Obamatrons is, “From those according to their talents, to those according to their needs”. Many of the people who debate on this site were not alive during the Carter Administration, only seen reports of long lines at the gas stations, odd and even day rotation for gas and 33 cent a gal for gas and 25 cents for diesel. The generation born after 1980 is the welfare generation, unable and unwilling to fend for themselves, dependent on mom and dad for their merger existence, and today dependent on the government for the air they breathe. Like Obama, It is easy to assign blame for their failures, rather than to accept responsibility for the actions; “there is no success like failure, but failure is no success at all”.  (Apr 26, 2012 | post #86)

2012 Presidential Election

Obama strategist sees Republican reign of terror in Congress

After 31/2 years in office President Obummer cannot run on his record of failed economic policy, foreign policy that demonstrates his weakness as a leader that scarified our allies for appeasement of our enemies, the high unemployment, out of control government spending and high gasoline and energy costs; therefore he needs to “point names and blame fingers” for his failure as President. The Obamatrons are mesmerized by his flowery speeches and outright lies, and his Marxist rhetoric on wealth redistribution, and making BS promises to politically immature collage students that are unrealistic; 1 in 2 college graduates are either unemployed or underemployed, and college by itself is not a guarantee of a bright economic future in today’s America.  (Apr 25, 2012 | post #69)

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

Obama's Debt $15.6 Trillion he wants another $1.2 trillion that equals $16.8 trillion Obama's Generational Theft.  (Jan 20, 2012 | post #163)

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

From those according to their talents to those according to their needs, is Government theft transforming low wage earners into a dependant class; what Karl Marx called “the surplus labor population”. Intellectually lobotomy, the liberal educational system of this country has intellectually entrenched the students with their Marxist-Leninist ideology that they fail to see that it is the American worker and entrepreneur is the endangered species. What made America great is the initiative and drive to succeed and to move up and out of one’s economic situation. Dividing the nation into a class society, the working class, the middle class, the ruling class, etc; is the progressive movement’s, in a sense the Democratic platform, to make low income wage Americans slaves to the welfare and food stamp nanny state. Democratic Political Hypocrisy; Let us look at Senator John Kerry and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi making millions from insider trading, this is illegal for regular citizens but not for the RULING CLASS; there are many more in the Democratic party making millions from outside ventures, yet the Obamatrons only see the Republicans as the venture vultures.  (Jan 20, 2012 | post #158)

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

Obama tried venture Capitalism with taxpayer’s money bailing out GM, and he lost half a billion taxpayer dollars when Solyndra failed. There is no tax payer’s money evolved in venture investments, it is all private capital. Sometimes you make a failing company profitable sometimes they are so bad they just fail. There is nothing illegal or immoral in Romney’s business ventures. So what is wrong with making money? That is why you invest 4 to 6 years in a college; enroll in business administration courses and business school, work for an investment banker, learn the ropes then go out into the business world and put your hard earned education to work. I did it and I retired well at age 55; I paid more taxes than most people earn in a year. That is Capitalism, an adjective coined by Karl Marx to describe an economic system based on private ownership of capital and property.  (Jan 20, 2012 | post #119)

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

Mitt Romney’s $ 360K is not much money compared to the millions Obama made by selling his memoirs that was written by Bill Ayers. Investment Capitalism is what moves the economy stupid, some businesses make it some fail, it is similar to real estate speculation; you by a parcel of land and hope that it will turn a profit on sale. Return on investment is not the same as welfare and food stamp fraud. Most of the homies don’t know the meaning of a fairs days wage for a fairs day work. They see it as how much is a pound of weed worth by cutting it with oregano, if ten homies charge a store clerk how many things can we steal without getting caught.  (Jan 20, 2012 | post #111)

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

Class warfare is like penis-envy, who has more? The middle class (Bolsheviks) as stated by Obama is a Karl Marx adjective to describe the normal state of affairs in the post industrial revolution Europe. There is no cast or class system in the United States of America, anyone can move up or down on the economic ladder. The reality of the fact is that the Obama’s (Bolsheviks) are acting like trailer park homies who just hit the lotto. Romney’s father George was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, 8 July 1907 and is a legal immigrant from Mexico then moved to Detroit to work for the automobile industry, then ran and became governor of Michigan. Mitt Romney made his money the old fashion way he worked for it; homies want it the old fashions way; take it from someone else.  (Jan 20, 2012 | post #109)

Romney: $360,000 Is "Not Very Much" Money

Let us compare that to Bubba Clinton make $8.2 million dollars in speeches last year and $120,000 and $500,000 to per appearance. Mrs. Obama’s $40 Million Dollar Vacation in Spain and their Hawaiian vacation at a million dollars per day, So Romney made $360,000 dollars in speeches, so freaken what.  (Jan 20, 2012 | post #101)

Unemployment rate falls to 8.5 pct., hiring surges

In the four years of the Obama Presidency the US lost almost two million jobs. Let us take the employment to population ratio, let us say 62% of the population is employed that leaves 38% of the population unemployed, so who are they? The Dept of Labor Statics count only those looking for work, then you have the Demographically-Ad justed Unemployment Rate, that is the mix of old (35 to 50) and young people (18 to 25) who cannot find jobs, and population shifts, the number of unskilled workers in none manufacturing jobs in the service economy, skilled and technical jobs are hiring but there are not enough people to fill them; and on the surface, this looked like a welcome leap in job creation. In reality, more than half of the fall was accounted for by a decrease in the numbers “actively seeking” work. The 315,000 who dropped out of the labor market far exceeded the 120,000 new jobs. 1.5 million People unemployed, 200,000 jobs created, the math don’t work.  (Jan 7, 2012 | post #47)

Unemployment rate falls to 8.5 pct., hiring surges

You do not need a degree in economics to know that the unemployment numbers by the DOL are bogus. It was President Ronald Reagan who added the members of the military to the employment figures to boost up the employment rate; if the military was not included in the employment figures and, when counting the people who have gaven up looking for jobs, the part timers and the resent unemployed, once a person gives up looking for a job six months or more that person is discounted by the DOL from the unemployment percentage, that real unemployment number is at 15 to 18%.These numbers have not been this high since 1938.  (Jan 6, 2012 | post #35)

Gingrich: Justice Dept Wants To "steal Elections"

The idea that requiring Americans to present a valid ID at a polling place is racist and discriminatory is an affront to decency and playing into class warfare and racial separation by the Obama administration. Eric Holder is using the Department of Justice and the office of the Attorney General to foster the Leftist Socialist agendas, the reelection of Obama. It is all B-ull-Shit, how can anyone go without an ID in the US. You need an ID to cash a check, to make a credit card purchase, to buy beer and cigarettes, go into Government offices, to get a Library card, , to register at school or to get your kids registered at school, at the DMV you need an ID card for a million and one things not just to cast a ballot. You need an ID just to get an ID.  (Dec 31, 2011 | post #12)
