gout shoes

I bought EEE width shoes that I use when I have a major gout attack. It allows me to walk without the pressure from tight shoes. It does not prevent me from limping. Does anyone else wear special shoes during an attack. You can see my shoes at http://goutventure 3/10/gout-with-wid e-shoes.html  (Oct 14, 2013 | post #1)

So confused...

I am not a fan of allopurinol. It caused gout attacks twice in toes so I stay away from it. I have has better luck watching my diet and staying away from my triggers. Http://goutventure  (Oct 14, 2013 | post #2)

Gout in my anckle

I had gout in my right ankle twice. Each time it was the worse pain ever and I could not put pressure on my leg. The first time I discovered it, I woke in the middle of the night to go to the restroom. As soon as I stepped on it, the pain was so bad my legs buckled. I had to crawl. That was the first time I used a cane because of gout. Fortunately, none of those attacks last long. http://goutventure  (Oct 14, 2013 | post #19)

Simple home treatment for gout.

I have tried so many of these home remedies while experiencing a gout attack. Tons of Cherries, Gallons of cherry juice, baking soda water, apple cider vinegar drink, etc, etc, etc. If you are having an attack I would try lots of different things to get the attack to stop. I think the best thing is to reduce the number of carbonated drinks, no shellfish, and no trigger foods AND drink lots of water. http://goutventure  (Sep 16, 2013 | post #16)
