Natchitoches Electric Company OVERCHARGING???

Ok... It was acceptable for a lot of service companies to charge a fuel surcharge several months ago when gasoline prices were so high. However, the prices of gasoline have gone down dramatically yet the 'surcharge' on our bills have not. Our utility bill DOUBLED when the charge went into effect...as stated earlier...it was understood because gasoline was so high. HOWEVER, the prices have gone down and our bills have not!!! Does anyone else have an opinion on this matter?? I mean we feel like we're getting ripped off! Gas has gone down...so should the fuel surcharge! I'm ready to start a petition and follow the protocol necessary to take action on this... anyone else feeling the same?  (Nov 2, 2008 | post #1)
