Cajun Rockers to Perform in Frisco
CAJUN ROCKERS TO KICK OFF MARKET STREET OPENING ON SEPTEMBER 6 IN FRISCO The first family of Cajun rock, L’Angelus will help kick off the opening of United Supermarkets’ newest Market Street location in Frisco on Sunday September 6. Called “an unbeatable happening” by longtime radio personality and XM satellite DJ Bill Mack, the twentysomething siblings of L’Angelus are known across the United States and Canada for their high energy performances. From upbeat Cajun-root rhythms and Swamp Pop jive, to Classic Rock and pure down-home Country, L’Angelus will fill the afternoon with more toe-tappin’ tunes that you can shake a fiddle bow at. French Cajun tunes such as the rocking “Ca C’est Bon” and the beautifully melodic “Waltz of St. Cecilia” are blended with bayou-spiced renditions of Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Motown and more. “Having been involved in the music business as a DJ and songwriter for more than 50-years, I can honestly say that I have never heard a more outstanding group,” said Bill Mack. “They have perfect harmony combined with super showmanship. This family group outshines many of today’s most popular musical acts!” Performing together since childhood, Katie, Paige, John and Steve Rees will bring their unique family performance to the Market Street “Party in the Parking Lot” beginning at 2:30 on Sunday, September 6, rain or shine. The new Market Street in Frisco is at 11999 Dallas Parkway. United Supermarkets, LLC, is a Texas-based retail grocery chain with stores in 27 markets across north and west Texas.
