Dear Right, Thank you for asking. The Stoney Creek Community Center board volunteers to submit our financial reports and our community activities to the Dolgeville Village Board. We feel this is important because that way everything will be revived by the Village Board. It is a gesture of professionalism that we feel is necessary to build a positive relationship. We value out Village Board's opinion and feel they can offer quality guidance and direction and we feel it is professional courtesy to do so. Being accountable to our Village leaders and our community is a mark of our character as a non-profit corporation...kind ness, truth, openness, honesty, integrity. It takes courage to stand for the truth and our organization is strong and able to deliver. Thank you for asking clarifying questions, I hope this helps. Have a wonderful evening. Dear Answers Inc. I am sorry if your are confused, I am happy to help: I love what I do in helping people and I know that if I were to depend upon the fitness center for income it would be hard for some people to afford it, so I donated the Stoney Creek Fitness to the Stoney Creek Community Center so it would have a permanent home in Dolgeville for many generations to come. Because I gave away my business, I cannot afford my house, so we are selling it to down size into something we can afford. All the donations and income taken in by Stoney Creek Fitness or the Stoney Creek Community Center goes into the Stoney Creek Community Center business account at M&T bank. We make our monthly financial report public at our board meetings and all our corporate documents are available for you to inspect any time you feel you would like to see them. Thank you for this opportunity to help clear up any confusion. I invite you to come to the next Stoney Creek Community Center board meeting and community meeting on January 15, 2013 at 7:00pm at Stoney Creek Fitness. Have a wonderful evening! Dear Answers Needed, I am happy to provide you with any answers you would like: I did ask the DBL'ers not to attend the Village meeting because I some of the Village Board members asked me not to make this a big public event and I agreed. We raised $1600 from the Farm to Table and it is in the Stoney Creek Community Center savings account at M&T Bank. We raised $3300 from individual sponsors and $1525 from business sponsors and it is in the Stoney Creek Community Checking account at M&T bank. I donated my 2009 Signed Yankees World Series Picture to DBL and Guy Shaff from Little Falls won it and he received it on Christmas Eve. We sold $500 worth of Raffle tickets for it and $264 went to framing costs at Michaels in Utica. (its a large panoramic picture of Yankees Stadium-gorgeous) You forgot to mention the food drive we did in October...did you miss that? We collected 20 bags of food and donated it to the Dolgeville Food Pantry. Also, the three trainers at Stoney Creek Fitness donated $250 each to the community center (I am one of these) to help with costs. There are only 3 coaches at Stoney Creek Fitness (I am one of them). We have 5 volunteers who help with DBL from time to time and we have donated their Prom Tickets to them (I think you meant volunteers?) I invite you to come to the next Board meeting on Monday Night at 7:00pm, January 14th. I hope you have a wonderful evening. Warmly, Bart Murnion  (Jan 3, 2013 | post #221)

Hi Everybody, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and delightful New Year. If you attend our public board meetings you would know the financial standing of Stoney Creek Community Center. Our Financial report is communicated at our board meetings, and we are accountable to the Dolgeville Village Board. Our business account is held at M&T bank in Dolgeville. We are accountable to the Village Board as well. (I have to chuckle at some of your posts on here, they are comical lol) I wish you a very prosperous and happy 2013.  (Jan 3, 2013 | post #220)

Let love be without hypocrisy...may the way in which you treat others be the gauge that you are treated and may the measure of mercy you grant others be granted to you. God is not blind...He sees you now; he is the one judging your heart, your secrets and your motives...and in Him I trust with all my heart. Merry Christmas...and a blessed New Year to you and your family. Warmly, Bart Murnion  (Dec 18, 2012 | post #200)

Dear "yes" I could not agree more. When we seek the Lord with all of our heart and all of our mind and all of our soul and all of our strength...then we are afforded a gentle and wonderful opportunity to repent and turn from our ways. May God have mercy on me and forgive me for my pride...I lay my heart before the Lord Jesus Christ and he and he alone is my judge. Thank you for the reminder...I have taken it to heart. God Bless you and keep you, Warmly, Bart Murnion  (Dec 18, 2012 | post #199)

Dear MEH, Again, we have applied for 501(c)3 status via IRS form 1023, it is a lengthy process. We have confirmation the IRS has received our application and is working it. Also IRS law/rules state that as long as an entity is incorporated in the state they reside (stoney creek is a non-profit corporation formed in the state of NY) We can accept donations of any kind. Once we receive our 501 (c)3 status, then all donation become tax-deductible, back dating to our incorporation date of 17 August, 2012. AFTER we get 501 (c)3 status then and ONLY then can you submit application to the NYS Charities Bureau. Let me recommend something: we encourage people to be a uniters, not a dividers... If you feel we are illegal, then you should report us to the IRS or NYS Secretary of State (who approved our non-profit corporation) Have a wonderful day Sincerely, Bart Murnion  (Dec 18, 2012 | post #190)

One last follow up to conclude this conversation thread: The Stoney Creek Community Center Board was at the Dolgeville Village Board of Trustees meeting last night, Dec 17, 2012, I brought all my State of Montana documents, tax documents and presented the information to the Village Board. They told me that they were NOT concerned about the information Donna Delucco brought to their attention on the 21st of November, 2012 Village Board meeting. They repeatedly conveyed their 100% support for me and the Stoney Creek Community Center. I was VERY encouraged that they are not swayed by mean-spirited people. I was VERY encouraged they enthusiastically support the Stoney Creek Community Center. Great things are happening in Dolgeville NY and we will unite positive-minded, community oriented people and we will reject bitter, mean, and negative people at EVERY turn. Last night was a GREAT victory for truth, integrity, and unity!! My hat is off to the Dolgeville Village Board of Trustees!!  (Dec 18, 2012 | post #189)
