10 Arrested in Student Brawl at Proviso East High School

Thanks for trying to insult what I know buddy. Many of them didn't/don't drive, they took the Blue/Green Line and Pace bus. The same garbage happens with Triton College, westside punks using in-district addresses to attend the schools. And I don't know what "you loco sista" means.  (Mar 22, 2014 | post #5)

DNA tests to determine identity of infant body

Sadly, this was Bryeon Hunter, and he was killed by his stupid negligent, lying parents who made up the story of him being kidnapped which sparked an Amber Alert. If they didn't want him, they should've abstained from having sex to begin with. That's the main consequence of not wrapping it up and keeping your legs closed. There are too many children in unloving homes, DCFS custody, and cemeteries due to two brainless unthinking knuckleheads who refused to control themselves and masturbate instead. When will people wake up?  (Mar 22, 2014 | post #4)

Fundraiser Launched to Help Family of Romeoville Shooting...

Great! Now there goes Romeoville! Anyone and everyone with the slightest amount of gang ties should be confined to the ghettos and hellholes and kept out of nice suburban towns, filled with hard-working, family-oriented people who don't want to tolerate this garbage! My heart and sympathy only goes out to those people. If it were possible for me to care any less about the vermin than I already do, I would do so in a split second! Let them eradicate one another! Who cares and who should care?  (Mar 22, 2014 | post #4)

10 Arrested in Student Brawl at Proviso East High School

Proviso East was a major-league shythole when I attended it from 2002-2006. It seems as if things have gotten worse, but the problem at that time which still exists today, is that a lot of those students DO NOT actually reside in Proviso Township. They are from the west side of Chicago! If only those in charge of enrollment actually enforced residence in the township like many suburban schools do, a good chunk of PE's problems will be eliminated. Oh wait that's right, they could care less!  (Mar 22, 2014 | post #3)

Mom's boyfriend denied bond in murder of Chicago toddler

If I ever run into this POS, I will kill him and dispose of his burned body in a wooded area! And why was that stupid woman hanging around with this mentally deranged child killer in the first place? Idc if she's a single mother! She doesn't need a man in her life to raise a child! Now look what has happened to her little daughter! My mother raised me fine with the help of her mother, my grandmother. My father wasn't in my life period, and still isn't, and nevertheless, I am a very strong single 27-year-old woman! I can't understand the women of my generation!  (Mar 22, 2014 | post #1)

Calumet City in the 60's & 70's

No one likes a race card player! They are illogical, stupid, and hypocritical, just like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, James Meeks and all those similar to them.  (Mar 21, 2014 | post #52)

Great! There goes another once-nice community. What's next to go to Hell? Arlington Heights? Rolling Meadows?  (Mar 20, 2014 | post #2)

Metra weighs extending service to Kendall County

The STAR Line, Crosstown Expressway, and the CTA's Circle Line can all become a reality if the reckless Illinois politicians would stop pocketing funds for these projects and spending those funds on a bunch of unnecessary junk and things that can wait. As a matter of fact, if these corrupt, lowdown politicians adhered to the real "proper role of government" instead of taking care of themselves first and helping to expand government, these projects would probably exist by now. More people would benefit from the STAR Line due to the proposed routing of the line than the SE Service Line due to the general population of the towns it is expected to serve. The tracks already exist, but the needed funding is for the stations. People in the area of the SE Line already have the nearby Metra Electric. And besides, have you heard who has been appointed to push for the SE Line, and Red Line extension to 130th St? Believe it or not, Jesse Jackson. I smell nothing but racially-instigate d political BS!  (Mar 19, 2014 | post #5)

One arrested after shots fired in Wheeling

Why do you people have to terrorize and destroy nice communities?! Would you rather live in these areas, or in the city where your chances of getting shot up, stabbed, raped, murdered, and robbed are much higher? If you prefer the former, then why don't you start acting like it and stop traumatizing the good law-abiding, hard-working residents of these towns with your gang activity and language?  (Mar 17, 2014 | post #43)

Death investigation in Round Lake Beach

Oh dear Lord! I never knew Round Lake Beach, and Wheeling, had such gang problems! They appear to be such pleasant towns when riding through! How come these nonsensical low-income Chicago rejects can't appreciate nice communities and leave them as they found them? We need more prisons, insane asylums, and zoos, because that's where these people belong, not on the streets!  (Mar 17, 2014 | post #29)

Metra weighs extending service to Kendall County

From where will Metra gather the funds and resources to carry out this project and is it still being considered? From what I hear, the agency is still trying to push the Southeast Service Line into existence, which, in my opinion, I don't see benefiting any of the southern suburbs it's expected to serve. The STAR line sounds like it would be much more successful, and I would like to see that project get off the ground before any other line Metra is planning to add or extend. I really don't see many people in Yorkville and Oswego taking Metra to downtown Chicago. It's too long of a commute. They would be better off choosing to work in Naperville or Downers Grove. Also, from what I've read, I-88 west of Aurora witnesses few traffic tie-ups, but if the population of these towns continues to grow, that will change and so will the need for Metra service.  (Mar 17, 2014 | post #3)

Gang members are loser cowards

Bottom line, gangs are stupid and have no basis for existence in our society. I hate that nearly every town has them! Some places have more gang problems than others, and I try to avoid those places as much as I have to. Unfortunately, there are a truckload of them in my area, and in many of the western suburbs. They are Chicago's rejects.  (Mar 17, 2014 | post #7)

Riverside, IL

North Riverside, IL

I will throw in my two cents and say what I know about North Riverside through online research and hands-on experiences. The town is small, and although it's north of Riverside, it has its own village government and services (e.g. police, fire department). I think it's included in the Riverside-Brookfie ld HS district. I'm pretty sure it is. Housing prices are lower in comparison to Riverside. As far as crime goes, the only hotspot for crime I'm aware of is in the area of Harlem/Cermak which is where the North Riverside Mall is located. The reason behind this is because the trash from areas like Maywood and the west side of Chicago frequent the mall. Other than that, you probably won't have much to worry about.  (Mar 17, 2014 | post #38)
