You should practice your reading comprehension. I NEVER said "you see nothing wrong", I said "IF you see nothing wrong"> As for my children admiring Vick, once again you're wrong. None of them admire Vick. They are blessed with the right set of values and admire only deserving people and not animal abusing thugs. Nobody is "trying" Michael Vick. The courts have already done that, and he served his time. But like other famous and not so famous people who have committed crimes, Michael Vick will be discussed both positively and negatively for the rest of his life. Those are different forums entirely and have nothing to do and cannot be compared to a person who would deliberately torture and kill an animal just for the thrill of watching it die a slow death. FYI I am not nor have I ever been an animal rights activist or a champion for their cause. I don't like PETA and contribute very little to the SPCA. Therefore my opinion here has nothing to do with extremism of any type. And, no, I would NOT sell my soul for a dog but I will continue to speak out against people like Michael Vick who are nothing but sadistic, cruel bastards who abuse animals for their own sport and entertainment. If you see nothing wrong with what he did feel free to continue kissing his azz. I didn't get paid to be a Boy Scout or Cub Scout leader. Those are volunteer positions. I also didn't get paid to form an athletic booster club for my son's school. I didn't get paid to attend P.O.W. functions or to speak at veterans organizations. Also, in this society today children having legal fathers who are involved in their lives is a definite plus. I don't really give a dahum what Vick does with his money but then we already know what he's done with most of his millions don't we? He's filed bankruptcy so obviously he hasn't been too smart with his money. I also don't care what happens with Vick in the future either. He is the only one who can answer to a Higher Authority for the things he does just like you and I will have to do. But one thing I can do is voice my opinion about him and I'll continue to do it as long as I want. You can do the same. Since you find me so interesting and you want to discuss my life, then we can create a forum just for that purpose. But I'm here on this forum to discuss Vick.....period.  (Aug 23, 2009 | post #86)

Why wouldn't I be concerned about Vick's children? I'm concerned about ALL children who have to live without a father in the home. I'm concerned about the current trend of women having children without even knowing who the father might be. I'm concerned about these children growing up without proper guidance and without proper ethics and ending up in prison where they will become dependent upon society. What the hell do you think happened to Michael Vick? He grew up without these things and look what happened to him. His only saving grace is that he can play football.
