I now know that they are. They have multiple dog breeds available and they do not want you to come and even see the parents although they claim to have them on site. Did you end up buying one? If so, I would love to know If you were able to see the parents and visit the facility. (Jul 9, 2010 | post #4)
The correct name is Country Lane Kennels. The website is: www.countrylanepup s.com (Jan 26, 2010 | post #5)
I am sorry, the last name is: Schlessman7043 (Jan 14, 2010 | post #3)
The Schlinders own this business. Jack and Jacquelin. Filthy, filthy. (Jan 14, 2010 | post #2)
I recently purchased a BichPoo from this breeder. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone. The place is filthy, and they sold me a dog that looked completely different in pics than in person. He has a skin condition on his hind legs, to where a lot of the hair is missing (along with scabs). They also state on their website that their puppies are well socialized. The dog that I bought was far from that. He is scared of his own shadow. Literally. I am not sure if he has been abused or what, but he is 5 1/2 months old and acts like he has NEVER been around people at all. False advertising. (Jan 14, 2010 | post #1)
I guarantee you that if you do some more research on this Legacy Farms, you will not like what you see. Karyn, I feel sorry for you that you went ahead and purchased a pup from them. This is either a puppy mill or a backyard breeder greeder. (Oct 23, 2009 | post #14)
No, I wouldn't say that anyone is starting a campaign to hurt someone's business. It is simply making people aware of what & who they are dealing with. (Oct 19, 2009 | post #11)
The email that I sent to them was actually to get info out of them. It wasn't sent because I, myself, am interested. I am trying to get their name out there so people will not buy from them. (Oct 19, 2009 | post #9)
That is great, but you are totally missing the point. This is a PUPPY MILL. Therefore when you purchase a pup from them, the money that they get goes right back to their breeding program, and you're enabling them to continue to mass produce puppies. If you had actually seen where the puppy came from, you wouldn't have bought them. Think about the dogs that are being BRED. They are not cared for as pets. They are simply a money making machine. Popping out puppy after puppy. They have no life. No comfy bed to sleep in. Think about THAT before buying a puppy from a mill. (Oct 18, 2009 | post #5)
