What proof is there.??

Jesus could have very well existed. The bible, if nothing else, is in of itself, a collection of stories passed down through time. There is no proof that he was son of God or had supernatural powers. I say a man is more about idea that legend. I choose Thomas Jefferson's take. Strip away all the miracles and magic tricks and such. Focus on his words. What did he teach? If you truly look at it, he was was very noble (if he truly did exist) and you can easily see through actions of his believers today, there really is no such thing as a christian. The one true God in today's world is Money.  (Nov 28, 2012 | post #12)

Does God exist?

This is only proof that you have never fully read the bible. How do you know anyone will meet him or her or it? Oh, and you for got the fact that the Bible as you know it had an editorial board who chose what stories went into it and what was divine. Written by man, edited by man, profited from by man. There is no inspiration from god, but power over others. Yet, a trait of man.  (Nov 28, 2012 | post #11)

Atheism requires as much faith as religion?

Which is what science is. It's an ongoing investigation. Tomorrows discoveries can change everything. Religion simply can't grasp that concept.  (Nov 14, 2012 | post #137551)

Corbin, KY

wanna sign the petition for ky to leave the union? (secede)

Considering the fact that Kentucky couldn't even make up it's mind with the confederacy, not bloody likely. Oh, and it is unconstitutional for that to even happen. When it was legal for a state to succeed, It wasn't by petition. It had to be an official vote and presented to the US Congress for approval by you state's legislature and governor. It never was a presidential matter. BTW, your guy losing the election and having a black president wouldn't qualify as legitimate reasons to succeed.  (Nov 14, 2012 | post #58)

Governor Christie is a traitor!

Exactly. Nazism became a religion, which is what the extreme right in this country is becoming. Hitler was elected with Socialist ideas but as soon as he received dictatorial powers, he moved to the extreme right. Hitler was a horrible person, however, in today's political spectrum in the USA, Hitler and the ultra religious neo-con's have more in common that of the left. As far as Christianity is concerned, we have freedom of religion, not just freedom of your religion. Government can do the same with Christianity as Hitler did with Nazism. It wouldn't be the first time evil hid behind the disguise of GOD.  (Nov 9, 2012 | post #408)

Barack Obama, our next President

Was it racist when Mitt Romney was doing the same to Obama in the debates? Or is it just ok if the white man does it? Yes, lets fire people and cancel shows because it doesn't fit your pathetic little beliefs. How about you just don't watch it? What justification do you have that Barbara Walters is a commie? You didn't know what Socialism was and you don't know what Communism is. Here's a hint: Wanting to destroy the free speech of those who disagree with you and labeling your enemies is a great start, COMRADE!  (Nov 9, 2012 | post #800816)

Obama's "Majority" is a Joke

Which is more that voted for Romney. More that voted for any Tea Party member and those who do not vote allow others to decide for them. When it comes to elections, the majority that counts is that of the voters, which Obama won. Using your math, you're side still lost. Get over it!  (Nov 9, 2012 | post #3)

Poor baby. Do you need a hug? I hope Obamacare will cover WBS (Whinny Bitch Syndrome). You seem to have a chronic case. Don't worry, I'll write OUR President and ask for ya.  (Nov 9, 2012 | post #800800)
