Okay, this update is going to continually go from Corbin to Isis and back until they meet up, kay. Well, enjoy  ------------------ ---------- Her eyes open slowly. She squints, adjusting to the light. Isis felt alone; Corbin was gone. She slipped on her fuzzy bunny slippers and walked down the stairs. “Hello?” She said, hearing an echo, “Anybody home?” Once in the kitchen, she waited in silence. “Okay, I guess I’ll take that as no…” She whispered to herself, after a while. Looking up at the clock on the wall, she fixed herself her first meal of the day; a late lunch (it was 2:12). After eating, she showered and headed for the one place that being alone wouldn’t matter, But not before packing a few snacks. **** The mood was lighthearted; smiles were on every face as the owners basked in the afterglow of a good laugh, following an awkward silence in which Marquet decided to spontaneously yell “Gay Baby!” (hopefully this offends no one). “Okay, I’m gonna head on home and check on Isis.” Corbin said after a while. A series of “Okay, son’s” and “Bye Corbin’s” followed. **** She did a few stretches just to get the blood pumping, took a deep breath, let it out, turned on the CD player, and began what she did best: letting the music take control.
