Foot Pegs Scrape Almost always !

Do you have single spring or double spring shocks??? Indoor19, I have the double Works shocks and weigh 180. Thanks door the info on the bike parts. Found my short, bike is all good except for the starter. Believe the clutch is going. Previous owner admitted he could never remember to hit the compression releases. Guess next week I will pull the starter again and take it in for a rebuild. Have to pull the clutch/flywheel on this one... Thanks again. Andy  (Apr 22, 2011 | post #13)

Foot Pegs Scrape Almost always !

All went fine with the oil change. Have a 120 Merch, could not find an engine case drain plug. Next time I will try removing the oil filter return hose. Am thinking I may have left some old oil in it because 5q filled it to where I could see about 1/8" of oil in the bottom of the filler neck. Any info on the pegs that were talked about? Am trying to find a short in the bike. When I turn the key to acc I heard one of the breaker fuses clicking. I found the fuse box and determined it is a blue wire but have no idea where it goes. Thinking I may have crushed a couple wires when I jacked up the bike with a 2x8 and floor jack. I will find the short but am thinking it may be a PITA. Thanks for your reply. I am interested in that information. Just bought a 2000 hellcat that sat for years out side, sad. But it is up and running again! Can anyone help with basic info like how much oil is used to fill it but not over fill? Also will need a new starter soon, is there high torque starter that is better? Will a stock Harley one work or is another one recommended? Thanks Andy  (Apr 19, 2011 | post #8)

T-bone. Just bought one that needs tons work. Need to know everything about it. Even the simple stuff like changing oil and where to get parts. Needs clutch controls. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Red  (Apr 15, 2011 | post #5)
