Russian Plane Crashes with 43 Aboard, 16 Dead

Those vile Ugandans! They are clearly following an anti-Russian agenda with this article.  (Apr 2, 2012 | post #3)

The Ongoing Decline and Fall of a Former Superpower

Serfdom did not exist in Rzeczpospolita, you idiot. So Ukraine didn't know serfdom until Russia brought it thereUkrainian is as close to Polish as it is to Russian. On a side note, both Polish and Ukrainian are a lot closer to the original Proto-Slavic than russian isI lol'd.  (Nov 7, 2011 | post #29)

Lol, you don't liberate someone by enslaving them, you mentally disabled russkie. Also, Americans and Canadians, for instance, are all but identical nations, but that wouldn't justify it if the former were to enslave the latter. Also, Ukrainian did not fall into misuse because its speakers were "less numerous", because in Ukraine they weren't - it was the *predominant* language there. The Ukrainian language was BANNED in the Russian Empire, and actively eradicated through various means.  (Nov 7, 2011 | post #28)

The Ongoing Decline and Fall of a Former Superpower

Another history lesson that you slept through in school, Stefanya: the Mongols did not destroy "Russia" because at the time, no such country existed. What used to be Kievan Rus' was now a multitude of principalities, which were sadly more eager to fight each other than Asiatic invaders.  (Nov 6, 2011 | post #18)

No you arrogant fool, Russia did not "set Ukraine free", all it did was take it from another empire and enslave it again. And under Russia's iron heel, Ukraine was arguably less free than when it was part of Rzeczpospolita. There was no serfdom, for one thing. Ukraine would've been much better off in a European empire like Poland-Lithuania than in an Asian one like RussiaUkraine is now 50% Russian-speaking, how is that any better than if they would speak polish.  (Nov 6, 2011 | post #17)

Britain warns Russia, China that authoritarian societies....

Correct me if I'm wrong but I hear Britain itself is clamping down on freedom of speech on the internet by forcing ISP's to set up filters of some sort. Russia has so far implemented no such policy. I'd say the Russian internet zone is at this point one of the least-regulated.  (Nov 5, 2011 | post #6)

Russian Opposition Parties: There's No Way We'll Beat Put...

I voted for Bogdanov in 2008, the first election year I was old enough to vote. I'm wanted by the Red Army now so there's no way I'm showing up for the election (or any other potentially dangerous interaction with the state) until I'm 27. You win, Mr. Putin.  (Nov 5, 2011 | post #1)
