Welcome to Saint Bubba's Bar and Grill

Glad school went fine and it's Friday. Gone Troppo, I love it so dearly Vero, didn't notice the post. I like Tecate, but much prefer a Bud Ice, but I would love to share Tecate with everyone here.  (Jan 25, 2013 | post #9826)

Who was the greatest, The Beatles or Stones?

The music of Elvis Presley, The Beatles,The Rolling Stones,The Beach Boys and Creedence Clearwater Revial will live on for a long time. As a Beatle's fan I give credit to Elvis for taking all the slams from the media, he softened them up for music to come. Chuck Berry and Little Richard were attacked by the media too, it's a good thing Rock n' Rollers are very persistant. Jim Morrison has admitted his admiration for Elvis, while Robbie Krieger loved the Beatles. Who's better ?, guess that's up to the listener.  (Dec 21, 2012 | post #35)

The Day the Music Died: A Look Back at a Rock & Roll Trag...

The seats were offered to the headliners of the show, but only three of the four could be seated. Waylon also said he was involved in a coin toss, but people who knew Waylon knew that he was quite the joker. Dion and Ritchie Valens flipped a coin and Ritchie won, maybe Tommy and Ritchie flipped a coin later on, only Tommy knows that. But Tommy has insisted that Dion was not involved in any coin toss at all which is false, Dion was a headliner as Tommy was just a back-up guitarist. Dion is a man of integrity and for that reason the Valens and Holly families are siding with him.  (Nov 25, 2012 | post #6)

We do have some cool posters in the Pub and it's always great to meet new people. Ill Bill has an interesting sense of humor, he is a cool guy. Ordered the Stones new hits cd and McCartney's live dvd, the 2 new tunes are not bad.  (Nov 12, 2012 | post #9301)

Hey Bubba, Bud Ice sounds great about now. We are supposed to be getting a cold front here in Dallas, still waiting on it. William is as Tooth calls it, a busy body, whether a Topix employee or not.  (Nov 12, 2012 | post #9295)

Hey Poppi, have a great vacation. Macadamian nuts are the best thing this side of Heaven, I understand why Jim Nabors moved to Hawaii.  (Nov 12, 2012 | post #9294)
