I didn't vote for former President Clinton, but aside from the sex scandal and impeachment, I think he served the people pretty well. We all know that whomever is elected President cannot fulfill all the promises he would like to keep without the support of the House and Senate. We all know too, that no matter how much we would all like our President to focus more on our domestic issues, the President is obligated as the leader of the free world to help find the answers for a living peace among the various nations around the globe. For all their flaws, the Clintons tried to do that while they served in the White House and continue toward that goal now with Bill going on speaking trips with former President Bush and Hillary in the Senate. She has a good record in the Senate and has also done a good Job as Senator from NYS. Better than Schumer in my opinion. Hillary commits, Schumer comments. (Apr 22, 2008 | post #1059)
I'm with you. Anyone who votes for O'Bama is voting to give aid and comfort to the enemy whether or not they know it. (Apr 22, 2008 | post #1058)
Hi WW, The end of an era up there in Green Bay. Maybe Farve will come back to coach. We'll see. Don't think we'll ever see a player stay on the same team for that many years again. I wish him all the best and hope for you and all the Green Bay fans that their FA will keep up the tradition of Vince Lombardie and Brett so aptly exemplifies. I see you noticed my little love. He's a friend of a friend. I'll have to keep him away from you. He'll be a goner if he sees those flirty flirty eyes.;:) I think we Jets fans will be smiling much more after the games in 2008/09 than we did in 2007/08 and I am once again eager to start the new season, but I'll be watching Joe Giradi and the Yankees until then. Take care and God Bless (Mar 21, 2008 | post #493)

What happened in the Patterson's marriage, years ago when the were separated is not at all analogous to Elliot Spitzer's behavior. Especially since they were contemplating divorce. What is exemplary, is the fact that they came together, worked out their problems and are still together today. Even though they are public figures now, the media ought not to look for some "thing" that either one of them may or may not have done and now regrets. I for one am sick and tired of this "gotcha" attitude that the media employs. (Mar 18, 2008 | post #1)

Next season will be very interesting Guinness. I do believe they are going in the right direction. Tangini will stay the course and you will be getting closer to seeing the Jets make a run in 2009 or 2010. Not too far away. Have a Blessed St. Patrick's Day! We drink to your coffin. May it be built from the wood of a Hundred-year old oak tree That I shall plant tomorrow. (Mar 4, 2008 | post #469)
Takes a little longer for D to jel. This year will be different with Vilma gone to Saint's and the deadwood gone. They can rewrite the playbook, which can't be done midway through the season. They can only tweak and hope for the best. (Mar 2, 2008 | post #459)
I would not call Ron Paul a buffoon, but I certainly would not call him a true patriot either. Many young people seem to like Ron Paul, but young people are being lectured and influenced by far left liberals in the teaching profession and the Hollywood gang of left wing hypocrites. Young people are being taught by the pot smoking Woodstock hippies that want to make love (they say), but they really mean have s ex. Hop in and out of b ed with anyone then write a tell all book. If something is left out of a speech, the speech could be deemed inadequate. Whether or not the speech is inadequate has no bearing on whether it is grammatically correct or incorrect. Proofreaders look for content, misspelled words, and grammatical errors. The grammar used to deliver the speech, is either correct or incorrect. This is why proofreading is necessary and why any language should be taught properly. (Mar 2, 2008 | post #121)
