whoa whoa......im a white guy and i grew up in the east end of newport news(down bottom)i know first hand the mentality of the thugs and hoodlums that roam the streets.....they dont want to get out...they are happy being the criminals they are....they have plenty of programs to that reach out to them ...(dori miller rec center...achievable dream...moton community ceter...boys club)...its all availible to them.....but its not cool to want to make something of yourself to them...its easy to sell drugs and rob and steal...its hard to wake up to a 9 to 5 ......it sounds like your trying to blame everybody else but the people at fault....i know a few guys that got out and are living decent lives ...i got out...i make lots of money...legally.......everybody has choices...even the thugs (Monday Nov 9 | post #10)
