Free primary education is also given in India to people who cannot afford it. As far as social benefits are concerned, some steps have been taken by the government in this regard. But Indian people would rather die than live on alms from the government. So government guarantees poor rural people with minimum 100 days of employment under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. (Dec 3, 2009 | post #568)
Is that the reason why so many world class athletes refused to visit Beijing because of the polluted air? And yeah, Chinese workers will always say they are happy, because otherwise they will be killed by their government. At least we Indians can proudly say that we are FREE. This word may be alien to you, just look it up in the dictionary. (Dec 3, 2009 | post #567)
Oh I forgot about China, a country ruled by Commie dictators.......!! Bloody baby eaters. (Dec 3, 2009 | post #562)

U idiot, writing the same things under different names isn't gonna give more value to what u are saying. U aren't fooling anybody dude. Instead, try writing something truthful and meaningful. People like u are ashamed of your own identity. (Jun 30, 2009 | post #27)
The Muslims who had ruled over large parts of India before the British were not Pakistani. They considered themselves as Indian kings. Pakistan didn't exist at that time. And you know what, Sikhs and Hindus ruled over large parts of what is now Pakistan till 1947. There were Sikh rulers in the whole of Punjab and till independence. The whole of Kashmir was ruled by the Dogra ruler Maharaja Hari Singh. And there were various tribal Rajput kingdoms in your Sindh province. And speaking of wars, in 1947 when Pakistani army along with tribal militia sneakily attacked Kashmir, India intervened at the request of the Maharaja of Kashmir. Indian army was successful in driving off Pakistanis from most of Kashmir. Pandit Nehru did a favour to Pakistan by calling for a UN-monitored ceasefire because during that time, Pakistani forces were depleted and were ready to surrender anyway. But India respected the ceasefire because it wanted peace. An about the 1965 war, this is what Wikipedia has to say: "The war was heading for a stalemate, with both nations holding territory of the other. The Indian army suffered 3,000 battlefield deaths, while Pakistan suffered 3,800. The Indian army was in possession of 710 mile˛ (1,840 km˛) of Pakistani territory and the Pakistan army held 210 mile˛ (545 km˛) of Indian territory. The territory occupied by India was mainly in the fertile Sialkot, Lahore and Kashmir sectors, while Pakistani land gains were primarily south in deserts opposite to Sindh and in Chumb sector near Kashmir in north." And it was Pakistan that ceded a part of Kashmir to China. So please get ur facts right before using abusive language against others. I never once abused you. There is no point in armed conflict. The people of India and Pakistan should live like brothers and all disputes should be resolved peacefully. (Jun 27, 2009 | post #170)
Just repeating lies will not change the real facts. Ur whole country is a joke. The truth is that Pakistan has never won a single war in its whole history. Everybody knows that the Pakistani government has always presented lies and false propaganda to its people. (Jun 27, 2009 | post #164)

And for your kind information, your Prophet Mohammad liked to have sex with little baby girls. It is mentioned in the Quran and is a proven fact. Check youtube. (Jun 27, 2009 | post #845)
Pakistan never won any wars against India. Come to think of it, Pakistan never won any war against anybody. They can't even defeat those stupid mullahs that rule their country. Pakis are a bunch of losers living under false illusions. Go and hide behind Uncle Sam and Chini Bhai, u beggars. Your whole country is a joke. (Jun 27, 2009 | post #842)

I agree with some of the points you are making. But again I have to state that a cause can only be considered noble if it is achieved by noble means. The fight that the LTTE have been waging, for example, would have had widespread international support if only they had taken a different path. But there really is no justification for killing innocent people, carrying out deadly suicide bombings or using children as soldiers. Many seemingly impossible struggles have been won by non-violent means. For example, no one thought that one small old man wearing a loincloth can free a nation from the mighty British empire without firing a single bullet. But Mahatma Gandhi did precisely that. Nelson Mandela did something like that to bring an end to apartheid in South Africa. Another example is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Bob Marley shook an entire nation only with his music. It is these people and their work that insurgents like the Naxalites should look up to. Maybe the ultimate objective of the Naxalites is the social and economic upliftment of the poor people. But this same objective cannot really be achieved by waging a war against these very people. (Jun 20, 2009 | post #6)
It doesn't matter what they are fighting for. No form of terrorism can be tolerated because of its 'cause'. Naxalite insurgency has to be dealt like all other forms of terrorism. (Jun 19, 2009 | post #3)
Even after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh naming the Naxalite insurgency as the biggest security threat to India, the affected states do not seem to be doing enough to counter this threat. An example of this is that the West Bengal government is yet to put a ban on Naxalite insurgents. Now after seeing incidents like Lalgarh occur, don't the Indian state governments have to do more to effectively put an end to the Naxalite threat. (Jun 19, 2009 | post #1)
