CHP Officers Investigated for Possible Shooting Cover Up

your ignorence clearly shows through" Pretty funny stuff. Did you misspell ignorance on purpose? What a joker you are. It is not hard to see that we live in a police state and military under GW's watch has been authorized to be utilized against citizens, which is in direct conflict with the Constitution of the United States of America. You side up with whomever you feel is best to promote where you would like to see the country steered. I just hope the Cops remember they swore an oath to uphold the constitution, NOT the governments will. All legitimate comments welcome. Making conjectured comments is weak...  (Dec 1, 2008 | post #28)

Moving to Bakersfield?

FL is in bad shape. The only advantage is the lack of state tax, but hat is eaten up post haste. You can own a house in FL but you can't live in it. Up in the panhandle area Escambia county big houses are for sale cheap. New, big, and surrounded by other new, big and vacated houses. They can't sell a house up there for anything. Next is house insurance. Be sure to do your homework on this one. Ever since Katrina and Ivan it has taken state legislation to attempt to keep the insurance companies from run away insurance practices. they even tried to block the insurance company from selling car insurance unless they showed the books for the gouging but the money won out and the insurance companies prevailed. Then there are the hurricanes, it is a way of life back there. There are no jobs, if your a nurse or some medical profession maybe, but don't count on the normal compensation. Toss all of that in with a bunch of dyed in the wool liberals looking for hand outs, and the cubano take over at the other end of the state and what can I say? They have been in a deep recession for awhile and it is not spoken of. For a very long time up until a couple of weeks ago they wouldn't even stock the gasoline stations with fuel. The whole area was being used as a test bed for nationwide gas rationing and public reaction to the same. Other than all of that FL is paradise. Housing is not coming back for years, if it comes back at all. This could be the end game for the Federal Reserve Banking systems Coup de ta launched in 1914 and signed into power by W. Wilson. He was bummed he did it, but he did do it and now we all pay. It is coming to a head in our lifetime. Do your homework.  (Nov 19, 2008 | post #10)

bakersfield police department uses excessive force

"Cops do the job that most don't want to have to do" Where have I heard that before? Yup I got it, I remember now. I agree with you on the part that most cops are just jewels. The problem is that even the jewels will enforce the tyranny of the federal government who is controlled by the world banking system. Before you start in with all of that conspiracy whacko BS, take the time to watch this: http://video.googl e.com/videoplay?do cid=-1656880303867 390173 Then flame away......  (Nov 19, 2008 | post #45)

Joe, everytime you open your mouth, your brain is on parade. It is better to thought an idiot, then to open your mouth and prove it. I hope in the future when you are in some circumstance you are not mauled by exuberant selective enforcement agents. There is a reason there is a nationwide run on gun sales. Don't think that the SA or brown shirt mentality is gone for good. It might be in YOUR face before the end of this ride.  (Nov 13, 2008 | post #43)

Yes that is true. $20K seems a very low amount to suffer prison. Some people that need Factor 8 make it into the prison system and they cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per month. Others, receive there hormone injections at taxpayer expense.  (Nov 12, 2008 | post #7)

Right on! There are more people that have this frame of mind than is let known. It is time to take America back and let the Ricks of the world be tolerant.  (Nov 12, 2008 | post #7)

Moving to Bakersfield?

I have lived here for fourteen years. The above post pretty much calls it. I lived in Redondo Beach for thirty two years, and I feel like I have a beautiful home, with a good sized lot, and I am close to everything. I like Bakersfield. I don't like being hasseled. Good people for the most part and the weather is tolerable. If I were to leave this area, I would move to Pensacola Florida. Check it out....  (Nov 12, 2008 | post #8)

How appropriate is a hyphenated american affiliation?

Many groups refer to themselves with a hyphenated american affiliation, such as Mexican American, African American etc. How appropriate is this practice in a country that is supposed to be the great experiment and melting pot? Are we Americans at different levels of being? Should caucasion people refer to themselves as European Americans? Does this practice perpetuate divisiveness in our multi cultural society? Is it not the goal for legal immigrants and citizens regardless of their heritage to assimilate into the American tribe as Americans and put the practice of segregating themselves away from the core with the use of a hyphenated national identification? I for one would like to see this practice urged to stop by our new POTUS. I do not see the benefit of this continued practice.  (Nov 7, 2008 | post #1)

That is the cheap side of the figure. If the woman while incarcerated seeks out medical care, she will be under the federal mandate for total care within the Plata vs The State of California, Perez vs The State of California, and Coleman Vs the State of California guidelines. Just the later would increase the average annual cost to over $100K/year.  (Nov 7, 2008 | post #3)
