What's the earliest age you can be affected by ED

Yes, it is possible. ED becomes more common with increasing age, but various problems can cause ED at any age.  (Dec 30, 2007 | post #2)

Free Methodic to Cure Impotence and Premature Ejaculation

Looks like the free book costs $2.95 and requires credit card for payment. But they also offer a penis enlargement e-book with that that is absolutely free! I think I get enough Viagra Spam already. It claims to be based on the ancient Chinese Zhenjiu therapy. Zhenjiu is the Chinese word for acupuncture. Why not just say 'based on acupuncture' in the ad? Ok, maybe acupressure might help some people. But usually, things like endothelial dysfunction, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc play a role. Maybe treat those first?  (Nov 23, 2007 | post #2)

no body is interested in permanant cure it seems

I doubt the Dr. needs any encouragement. My guess is that he is working hard, and if his procedure works and gets FDA approval, he will charge a nice royalty on every injection that uses his method. Will do some digging on this approach and post later.  (Nov 23, 2007 | post #4)

Have you ever had erections? If not, it may be different from regular ED. It could be some type of developmental delay. Better check it with a doctor.  (Oct 25, 2007 | post #2)

Generic Medications?

Generic Viagra is sildenafil, the same ingredient in viagra, but it is made by a generic manufacturer (most likely in China or India). Because there is a patent on sildenafil for ED, it cannot be marketed and sold through normal channels in the west. But it is sold through the mail; the legality is dicey, and the quality is uncertain. It may be just as good, or it might be a fake, or only contain half as much as it claims. I noticed "US-Value-Pha" is not based in the United States.  (Oct 22, 2007 | post #3)

What herbs effect nitric pathways?

Check out - it is an index to the Pubmed research for herbs. There are pages on nitric oxide and phosphodiesterase (the enzyme that viagra and cialis inhibit). Also pages on erectile dysfunction and other relevant conditions. Or do a search at for nitric oxide.  (Oct 20, 2007 | post #4)

Can't achieve erection while standing up or on knees

Might be some sort of baroreflex that is too sensitive. There are lots of receptors in the body that measure position, and they change heart rate and blood pressure. Not sure what to suggest other than yoga. There is some evidence that over a period of weeks or months, yoga practice can normalize the baroreflexes.  (Oct 20, 2007 | post #2)

Overheating of the....area...and ED?

Overheating can definitely reduce sperm count and testosterone. While a psychological effect can't be ruled out, there probably is a physical issue. If you had ED before from alcohol, then your endothelial function (needed for erection) may be low, and the heat could affect it. One thing that can help many with endothelial problems are the red/blue/purple pigments in fruits: http://aphrodisiol ns-erectile-dysfun ction Another thing is switching to a 'Mediterranean Diet.'  (Sep 20, 2007 | post #3)

Biking and Erectile Dysfunction: A Real Risk?

Bodee LLC, Inc. Issues A Voluntary Nationwide Recall of A...

Yeah, the product might work. Because it contains a pharmaceutical called aminotadalafil, which is almost (but not exactly) tadalafil. Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis (one of the evil pharmaceuticals you accuse of causing so many side effects). Not sure that they even listed this as an active ingredient - not good, because it can interact with other medicines. I don't think it occurs naturally, so it can't be sold as a dietary supplement. I'm not a fan of the FDA, but I agree with them on this call. And I disagree with your statement "As a matter of fact, it's been the only non-prescription product that does do what it says it will."  (Sep 17, 2007 | post #2)

What kind of doctor should I talk to regarding ED?

I would start with your family doctor or GP if you have one - they know the most about you. A referral to a specialist might be in order depending on the cirsumstances - maybe a urologist, maybe an endocrinologist (if hormone problems are suspected).  (Sep 12, 2007 | post #2)

E.D. Concern

Buster, the nitro and viagra work partly in the same way, to open up blood vessels. If you are taking viagra and then take nitroglycerin, blood pressure could drop so low that the heart has problems. So they cannot be mixed when a person is having a heart attack. There are some things (like changing diet and exercising) that benefit both ED and the heart. If your health is not good, ED pills are a limited help (and they have some risk as you pointed out). Is the stent in your heart? How is your cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. Are you on the Mediterranean diet? http://www.aphrodi rranean-Diet-Sexua l-Function  (Sep 2, 2007 | post #9)

E.D. Concern

Yes, ADD and/or the meds used to treat it could interfere with someone's sex life. You may or may not have ADD - it could be some other condition like anxiety disorder (which can also interfere).  (Sep 2, 2007 | post #8)

Morning Erections

Taking viagra with levitra is probably not a good idea - they are different medicines, but both work by blocking the same enzyme (PDE5). Mixing them could be the same (or worse) as simply taking a double dose of one. http://www.aphrodi  (Sep 2, 2007 | post #3)

Religion tries to be about heavenly things, but can only be done by humans. In the old days, spouse abuse was (incorrectly) seen as something that occurred only in lower class households. It happens across every sector of society - some just do a better job of hiding it. Unfortunately, lots of people seem to be hypnotized when the G word is invoked, and that makes religious organizations of all stripes more susceptible to corruption. For decades, loyal Catholics were immune to the idea that their men of G might be buggering their sons. There was a child-abuse scandal in the Hare Krishnas for decades. Because people want more than faith in invisible, abstract deities. People want to believe in religious institutions and leaders.  (Aug 28, 2007 | post #456)
