Alex, Honestly I don't see how they can get any more corrupt than they already are. A ward specific system will allow regular folks to run and win - right now only the wealthy or those who sell out to special interest have a chance to win. Jerry, Two of his fellow Planning Commissioners showed up to attest to the great job Sean did on Planning. And several of the Council Members likewise spoke to the work he did. Even Carlos Bustamante told him he would personally see to it that Sean receive a City Tile plaque from the City of Santa Ana. Editor Statement

Welcome to Topix. My name is Art Pedroza. I am the editor of the first political blog in Orange County, Orange Juice!, which debuted in 2003. You can read it at www.orangejuiceblog.com. I also am the editor and publisher of the New Santa Ana blog, found at www.newsantaana.com. This is a new blog where we can discuss events in Santa Ana and ideas as to how to improve our town. I have resided in Orange County for over twenty years. My wife Camille is a third generation resident of Santa Ana. I work as an independent safety consultant and I am an adjunct instructor at a community college. I will do my best as a Topix editor to bring you the latest news!
