Game plan: Move on

Most of the people aren't blaming the officials for the lose and have acknowledged that the Steelers would have won anyway. A lot of people, myself included, are made at the call at the end based on principle. You would have been able to recognize that if you weren't so determined to talk trash.  (Dec 17, 2008 | post #184)

As a Steelers fan, perhaps you could listen to a Steelers radio station. Oh wait..... This is just a meaningless thread right? Just curious  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #174)

At this point I'm starting to get the sense that you aren't being serious. You aren't being serious right? The glaring contradictions aren't an accident right? If you have something negative to say in return, perhaps you can give me your name an address so we can handle this like men LOL LOL  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #172)

Very well said and the logic is on point! It would be criminal for Red Sox fans to root against the Yankees, or for Michigan fans to root against Ohio State, or for North Carolina fans to root against Duke.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #143)

Bad calls not always black, white

The players don't want to p*ss off the coach or get fined. The NFL almost always backs up its officials so that means nothing. Anyone who doesn't believe that the call shouldn't have been over turned, regardless of what was called on the field, is a fool.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #57)

Unprovoked nonsense like this is what gives Steelers fans a bad rep and is what psses off other fan bases. You embarrass yourself.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #132)

My understanding was that the salary cap would go away in the 2010 season assuming a new deal isn't worked out. I am in favor of a salary cap for the obvious competitive balance reasons, but more important to keep salaries reasonable. In contrast, average baseball players like Eric Byrnes are making $10 million/year, which is sickening.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #131)

You must not have read a different thread. Don't mention the bad call, he will dismiss it as whining and crying.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #101)

I could put a "clever" twist on your name and call you Roberta and follow that up with girly jokes, but I can't bring myself to stopp to such a desperate and pathetic level.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #47)

So you think it's dumb and moronic to suggest that the ball didn't clearly cross the plane? A lot of analysts feel the same way. If my post was so dumb, why ignore my post when I asked you why there has been so much controversy and debate if the play was so clear? You dismiss that as dumb b/c any other response that remotely agrees with me would suggest that you are wrong and you can't handle it.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #46)

Thank you for the backup. I 100% agree with you and if others wouldn't lash out with the whining references there wouldn't be so much hostility.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #45)

Explain something to me, what does offering your name and address accomplish? What person with any common sense would actually go to some random person's house to settle a dispute? LOL the generic parents basement reference. Wow. I degrade people b/c they talk trash and want to get a rise out of people. Then when I give them attention they get their feelings hurt. Waa Waa. Basically I hurt your feelings and you are mad about it and you are trying to defend your fellow Pittsburgh fans (which I respect).  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #93)

Do you seriously try to contradict yourself mr who won just curious? Even if what you are implying I said is true, why would you try to remedy the situation by calling me names? You claim to be so smart and all....  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #92)
