Pope Opposes Guitar Riffs At Church

Pope Benedict is obviousy right. Most of this modern 'music' utterly and obviously has no solemnity at all and contributes nothing to the increase or at least the maintenance of personal holiness which Should occur at Mass.  (Mar 31, 2011 | post #127)

Judge overturns California's ban on same-sex marriage

What IS all this? Any jackass can see that men can and should love each other deeply but not sexually. That's what friendship is - see the biblical story of David and Jonathan. Men and women can't marry members of their same sex. It's entirely unnatural and non procreative - entirely in opposition to Natural Law. Commonsense. 'Gay' 'marriage' is oxymoronic at best and an egregious social evil at worst. Good Lord, this conversation couldn't even have occured not 40 yrs ago. People had a moral compass and commonsense back then. Wake up people!  (Aug 24, 2010 | post #11190)

There s/b no reason whatever to have to do this for some of you people as presumably you're sentient beings, but evidently it's necessary so here it is. Read it: http://www.newadve nt.org/cathen/0907 6a.htm  (Aug 23, 2010 | post #10802)

"And really? "Natural Law of gad"? What the helll does that mean?" Google it. Look it up. Don't be ignorant. Natural Law is ancient and exceedingly well docomented. Look it up. Ignorance and arrogance is a lethal combination. Indeed it's giving rise to much of the travail we've been experiencing for so long now.  (Aug 23, 2010 | post #10725)

Another kangaroo court, of the type of which is becoming prototypical in American jurisprudence. After all thecrequisite bull and hype Walker merely imposed his personal preference which is so often the case anymore. As everyone knows legal opinion can't ultimately be anything but personal but judges should attempt to follow the explicit and Natural Law of God, the Constitution and the body of law generally which, unfortunately, rarely happens anymore. 'Judges' who want to be politicians should find some backbone, quit the bench and run for office. I simply can't believe people are dumb enough to put up with this sort of abuse anymore.  (Aug 23, 2010 | post #10719)
