Spain: "Yes We Camp," Mobilizing on the Streets and the I...

These are nothing more than a minority misfit bunch of people, many not even Spanish citizens, that are pushing for anarchy. While there may be a few who are really interested in what's happening in Spain, just watch the news casts to see the ragtags that are there. If they were really that concerned, why haven't they been roosting in front of the Moncloa where the REAL problem comes from?  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #4)

Zapatero Faces Calls for Early Election as Support Wanes

If the man had even an iota of decency, he would have called early elections a year ago when he had to pay off the Catalans to support him. The man is a literal disgrace to his country and only thinks of himself and to hell with the Spanish people. It will take decades to repair the damage he has done to Spain.  (Jun 29, 2011 | post #1)

The Problem With Spain's Plan to Pay Migrants to Go Home

Well, that is no surprise that the program has failed. Most of the programs of "prohibit " this and that implemented by Mr. Bean have been failures. The programs are just smoke screens to get the Spanish people's attention focused on non-isssues, rather than the issues affecting the people, such as high unemployment, rising prises, corruption, taxing everything in sight, and it goes on and on. The unemployment rate amongst the young (under 25) is running at around 40-45% and apparently will not get any better in the near future. Mr. Bean needs to go home now...he should have months ago if he had a grain of decency!  (Mar 6, 2011 | post #1)

Tunisian economy downgraded, Spain offers help

What a laugh! Mr. Bean (Zapatero) cannot even manage the crisis in his own country, let alone in another. Offering financial help? Spain is in a virtual financial crisis itself, so how can it afford to give financial help to other countries? As always, he is just grand standing. Hopefully, the next elections in 2012 will see the end of his useless government!  (Mar 3, 2011 | post #1)

The left wing plan to create jobs in Spain

The only way the left has been able to create employment opportunities in Spain has been to put more people to work for the government. To paraphrase Margaret Thatcher, "Socialism will last until the people's money runs out!"  (Feb 28, 2011 | post #1)

Zapatero: Spain winning debt battle

The only reason Mr. Bean can report that he is reducing the debt is because he is doing it on the backs of the Spanish people. Taxing the hell out of everything in sight, including electricity, fuel, salaries, food, raising the IVA, and you name it! And not one iota of reasonable effort to reduce the level of unemployment. The youth of Spain have little hope with unemployment running at between 40 and 50 percent. The man needs to go and if he had a grain of decency, he would have resigned months ago!  (Feb 23, 2011 | post #1)

Spain Papers Review - Monday February 21 2011

The "marking of the 30th anniversary of the attempted coup" is nothing more than a veiled attempt by Mr. Bean and his clan to distract the Spanish people from the real issues: unemployment, corruption, and galloping price increases. This is a tactic all too frequently employed by the PSOE as voting time approaches. Typically: "the facists are coming" and "they will take us back to the days of Franco" and "they will take away all your rights" and so on. Its time for Mr. Bean to go home so Spain can start to recover from his disasterous 7 plus years in misgovernment!  (Feb 21, 2011 | post #1)

New Basque party rejects ETA violence

No one should buy this back door tactic. The people that are forming this so called "new party" are the same faces as the ones that had no problem putting bullets in the head of Spanish citizens, or bombing cars, establishments, air ports, and so on. Their aim is still a separatist agenda!  (Feb 8, 2011 | post #1)

Spanish PM warns regions to slash spending

Well, as usual Mr. Bean is a day late and a dollar short. The 17 autonomous governments are already up to their eyes in debt. Cannot even pay contract obligations that are months if not a year old. The contractors are complaining right and left. And, Mr. Bean warning the regions, how about HIM stop his spending? He just gave 27 million Euros to the unions to pay them off for not striking. The Unions are in the pockets of the government and have been for years; that explains why the few times they have had a strike, it usually targets the opposition party or business interests, rather than Mr. Bean's PSOE party!  (Jan 17, 2011 | post #1)

Spain helping 40 percent of Haitians suffering from cholera

Well, if Rubalcaba said it, it really ought to be confirmed from other sources. If you see his mouth moving, he is probably misrepresenting the facts or just outright lying!  (Jan 16, 2011 | post #1)

8m ransom for Spanish hostages: mediator

Those pirates are delighted when they get a Spanish boat or Spanish National: the Spanish always knuckle under and cough up the money! Just encourages them to further seek out Spanish targets. Mr. Bean will never learn!  (Jan 16, 2011 | post #1)

Spain ends airport emergency measure

Just as well; it was nothing more than a smoke screen for all of Mr. Bean's OTHER problems, most more important than this trumped up controller situation.  (Jan 16, 2011 | post #1)

Spain's national broadcaster bans bullfighting

Well, the fact that they will not broadcast it is no sign that it will be stopped. I have lived here for years and I can tell you that there is a significant percentage of the Spanish people that have an inborn instinct to abuse animals. I have seen videos of geese thrown out of attic windows, goats being abused, bulls with torches tied to their horns and so on. I do not see this so called "sport" or "art", or whatever it is, stopping in my lifetime!  (Jan 9, 2011 | post #3)

Animals are people?! Give me a break. My Yorkshire Terror is perfectly at home with us and is an angel besides some people I know! Well, I guess you were just dreaming, [email protected]  (Sep 23, 2010 | post #3)
