I must add that when the mother found that her boyfriend was looking at child pornography on his computer she should have called the police immediatley. That makes her questionable. (Sep 19, 2007 | post #28)

The other kids may have been molested too. They should, and probably are, getting evaluated. One can't automatically assume that the mother knew also. I don't know any of those people,but I am familiar with these types of situations and I can tell you that is very common for abuse to occur for years without being detected. It would be a shame to take children from a mother and vice-versa at such a traumatic and heartbreaking time. That could in turn cause irreparable damage to the children and possibly sex abuse in foster homes. However with proper testing (a polygraph would be an excellent start) and interrogation if she is found guilty and/or confesses then she deserves an even stiffer punishment I believe. I just think the mother should not be looked upon so harshly at this moment. She must be in a terrible shock- just imagine it. Of course she's acting 'funny'. Wouldn't anyone? This is wonderful! I called Big Brothers & Big Sisters Head Office last week to inquire about getting a branch here. I was told that the organization doesn't have enough volunteers here to meet the demand. I suggested that we could recruit at churches and they told me that they couldn't get enough through churches alone. I'm glad that the B&G Club is expanding and offering a mentor program. All I can say about this is that our fine court has issued the punishment that was deserving to these horrible people. For someone to do something so heinous shows us that they are selfish and narcissistic with no respect for the value of human life. They show me that they believe their lives are worth more than anyone else's. As far as drug use goes it is simple: If these people are so weak as to pick up drugs initially and develop a habit- then they are naturally a weak person, destined to fail. Crawford you obviously do not have children. How can it be 'wrong' to put drug dealers in jail? Drugs are a disease in our Country and they are turning our people into useless living corpses. I vote for the Death Penalty for the big 'source' dealers. There is no question that drug dealers have the sole intention of killing their customers. I have no sympathy, no pity, no words foul enough to administer to drug dealers. Support your children future- REPORT ALL SUSPECTED DRUG ACTIVITY. (Sep 6, 2007 | post #2)
