Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
People put alot of stock into them beating the Pats and Cowboys....re: cowboys I just laugh. The Pats...They should have, when you head coach spent the last few working with their offense and Brady...he better know something about how to stop them. (Tuesday Nov 3 | post #1449)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
So what are you guys seeing for Pit. v Min. The Vikes have a huge O-Line that might be a problem, but looking at what Flacco did and then how Ben is throwing I think the Steelers can put up some points. A.D. is the unknown though. When he put up that 296 on SD (when they could play D) I knew to not bet against him. (Thursday Oct 22 | post #1431)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
Those 30 for 30 specials have been good. I keep wondering if we'll ever get penalties reviewed. I'm getting tired of seeing horrible calls across the board. (Wednesday Oct 21 | post #1418)
Favre, Vikings outlast Flacco's Ravens
Kinda cocky for a win by missed field goal eh? (Monday Oct 19 | post #5)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
As a younger person that documentary highlighted something I didn't really detail in my mind. We were without football from when I was 5 until I graduated from high school. I missed some great football watching years. Worse that I'm not sure how many times I have seen that clip of the Mayflower vans. That film silences all those Cleveland voices in my head. Yeah, we ended up with their team (though they only went a few years with no football), but no team had as much impact/importance on the league and left a city in such a way. Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
I'm wondering if we'll draw quicker penalty flags for the rest of the year. It does seem like when you get certain ones, refs are quicker to throw on you down the line. (Oct 13, 2009 | post #1361)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
You know, bengals fans were mouthy after they beat the steelers, I don't even want to know what it will be like until they play either team again. God save us. (Oct 12, 2009 | post #1341)
Brady, Patriots fly past Ravens
No one has...but I feel sorry for those who at this point can't be optimistic about their team. Also all of you who say they were "crying" ...get over yourselves. People complain about calls all the time and the media loves it. (Oct 7, 2009 | post #41)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
LB is deep...I'm looking for webb to come in at CB at some point...Ayenbadejo(sp) who is now on ir was probably the best bet to come in at LB...he was in a lot and actually got hurt making a tackle. For now he's probably just such a great special teamer that they would rotate him to full time LB...dude has gone to the pro-bowl 3 years in a row on ST (I believe). WR wise...I think Washington is a good bet to replace Mason, Clayton...I don't know what the deal will be...he did make alot of good catches before that drop though...not that anyone will remember them now. I don't know what's up with Williams...he just got beat out by the vet for now. Then there are the practice squad guys. The dude Riley from Duke may have potential...but just knowing he was from Duke let me know he would need development time. (Oct 7, 2009 | post #1336)
Brady, Patriots fly past Ravens
Yeah...it's not like we scored 3 touchdowns in that game. Yeah those Pats...have the same record as the Ravens huh? Hope you take care of the Jets then we can replay this in post season. (Oct 6, 2009 | post #31)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
I watched the lead up to MNF and Dilfer ran through some of the Roughing that's been called or hasn't this year. I didn't notice, but Flacco got mauled after the ball was out on the play that Gaither got hurt on. Some of the ones he showed from other games this year were also crazy. Not just what was called, but some that wonder how it didn't get called. (Oct 6, 2009 | post #1315)
Brady, Patriots fly past Ravens
WHAT???? Brady is out for a year...you lose a bunch of vets on defense and at the start of the season you guys were seen as a contender. The Pats are always favorites. The only difference between them and Dallas is that the Pats actually win. (Oct 5, 2009 | post #16)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
The worse part is they make it bad for all those bengals fans who are always around...so easy to show up after a win. (Oct 5, 2009 | post #1298)
Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud
I'm not worried. Despite everything that happened. Flacco droved us up the field at the end and if not for Clayton dropping the ball, we would have had 4 shots to win that game. What's funny is the Bengals fans on ESPN talking like they are the cream of the AFCN after going overtime with the Browns. I'll enjoy watching them vanish next week. (Oct 5, 2009 | post #1295)
Brady, Patriots fly past Ravens
As you call people stupid notice that it was actually in the Pats house and the Pats were two point favorites. (Oct 5, 2009 | post #11)
