Sooman's a liar

I worked for Suman Kalia at two different jobs in the past. He is strict, but he was always fair with me. And he is an American citizen. He has done well for himself. I wouldn't put up with an employee stealing from me either. Whether he lied about the sign's meaning, or not, he still has the right to defend himself.  (Sep 8, 2014 | post #41)

Unfortunately, this place is closed now. They were my go-to place for tenderloins and cheesesteaks. I will miss their delicious food.  (Aug 17, 2013 | post #11)

Brenda current davis

I don't know where you get your information, but we have taken our dogs to her shop for a while now. She is the best dog groomer I have seen. We have stopped in on her unexpectedly several times, and we have never heard or seen any kind of abuse going on. Our dogs love going there. And I'm pretty sure it's not because she gets them high. Brenda and Tina both seem to be very nice people. We have NEVER had a problem with them. The reason we started taking our dogs to their shop, is because a friend, who is a dog groomer herself, highly recommended them. If you don't like her, don't go there. Spreading such trash about her is horrible. I personally would recommend them to anyone.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #13)

Bad Times Coming are you ready?

Thank you for being civil in your last post. I don't try to shove my beliefs down anyone's throat. That's not the way Jesus taught us to respond. I know some people see Christians as simple, brain washed sheep. All I can speak for is myself. I have been a Christian for almost 20 years, and I have been verbally attacked and belittled by so many people, it just rolls right off of me. I don't hate anyone for anything. God tells us to pray for those that hate us. And, by the way, God is more than interested in you. He loves you more than anyone could. And you don't need to "find God". He is where you are at all times. Once you get to the point that you feel the emptiness inside of you that "things" can't satisfy, that's when you'll "find" Him. I'm sorry that so called Christians have let you down, but we are not all like that. It's been good talking to you. If you ever get the urge to go to a genuinely Christian church, I would like to recommend that you try First Baptist Church. (The old Wal-Mart). I go there and they will not push anything on you. Have a great night, and God bless you.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #7)

Bad Times Coming are you ready?

I agree that some organized religion is a joke. But I believe in a real God. Not some money hungry church. One day we will all stand before the Lord at Judgment. I truly hope you change your mind about God before you die. If not, you will stand before Him without any hope of going to Heaven. I will pray that you have a change of heart before then.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #4)

Memorial Day festivals

These comments just confirm what is wrong with our society today. I should first say that I am a follower of Christ. I have been for 20 years. I have seen the tolerance for the Christian viewpoint plummet in those 20 years. Signing a petition to get rid of Faith Fest is your right. Start one if you'd like. The people that started it are good, hard working, and well intentioned people. All they want to do is try to spread some peace and love around our community. But because some of our citizens don't agree with their beliefs, they want to shut it down. Like someone said, if you don't like it, don't go. If you want to start a devil worship themed festival, that's your right. Will some Christians start a petition to shut it down? Probably. But if they are real Christians, they won't say some of the hateful things you have said to them. I can't believe that one commenter said he was a Christian, and that he wanted Faith Fest to be shut down. If you are so ashamed of your beliefs, ask God to help you. I didn't mean for this to be so long, but when I see such hate being spit upon Christians, who want nothing but the best for our city, it saddens me. Keep taking God out of everything, and see how long it takes for our society to crumble. The Christians of our city need to pray to God for the ones that hate Him, or don't believe in Him. This is how change happens. Not by spewing hate speech, or retaliating. My prayer is that we could learn to put up with each other. Agree to disagree. Focus on building up our city, not tearing each other down. May God bless and keep each one of us.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #12)

Bad Times Coming are you ready?

My thoughts on this subject are not as scary as yours, but I agree with the core of your statement. Bad times are on the way, and soon, I believe. We are going to wake up one day and realize that, while we were busy being distracted and entertained, our rights and freedoms are no more. We are well on our way to being a FORMER superpower on the world stage. Most people won't even care, as long as they're getting free stuff from the government. We deserve whatever happens to us. As a Christian, I believe our downfall started when we allowed God to be removed from everything. If people would put their faith in God, and not government, our lives would be far better off.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #2)
