I'll pray, but ultimately its in the hands of the almighty. It isn't up to me.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #84)

I think you're missing the point. I can pray for anything, but ultimately Allah's will shall be done. Sometimes things that appear wrong are just a part of a bigger plan that ultimately leads to the greater good. Since we are not omniscient, we have no access to the future so it is best to submit to the will of Allah because he ultimately knows what is in our best interest.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #83)

Maybe, maybe not. Your ISP indicates you live in the UK, a society with a relatively high proportion of atheists. Perhaps you judge me based on indicators that could equally apply to you. How are you not the product of your environment and upbringing?  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #82)

Not stupid, just blind. I don't have enough faith to be an Atheist.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #3)

Why so many negative icons, my friends? I just want a good natured discussion.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #77)

Allah has regrown many missing limbs, I have no doubts. If you give me the name of someone who has a missing leg, I can pray for them, but in the end Allah's will be done. You cannot test the Almighty.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #76)

Can there be morality without religion?

There are always two sides to every story, I'll give you that. They, the Western power-brokers, are out to get everyone, you and me both. It's not an Islamic version of events, it's an objective view. I see beyond the messages and words of corporations and politicians to the bigger picture.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #76)

There are many ways, but I feel that you aren't really interested. Like most western people, you want to confuse cultural problems with religious dictates. Used correctly, Islam seeks to empower and liberate women, not oppress them.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #75)

I understand what you're telling me which is why I wont bother you with superfluous detail. If you're willing to be fair and open minded, tell me what you would consider as sufficient evidence and I will try to give it to you. Don't ask me to find you the theory of relativity or Beer's law because the evidence in the Qu'ran was deliberately presented in a manner that those of the time could understand.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #75)

There is more to the story than what you are seeing. The marriage was strategic both politically and religiously, condoned by Allah, and not for physical gratification. He had many other wives, none of which were close to that young and he was a righteous man. You can't compare two different ages and cultures so easily. The context is vastly different.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #73)

An imperfect follower of Almighty Allah. If I ask Allah sincerely, he will correct the spelling in my username. Will that prove to you that Allah is real?  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #71)

You're right, the Qu'ran is not a science text. That takes nothing away from my point. God's word contains many scientific truths that sufficiently prove its origin as divine. There is no better explanation for the scientific integrity and accuracy of detail it contains.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #70)

Chance to establish (an Islamic state) on Earth?

I have no rights to anything, but I am a servant of Allah and he owns all, including this forum. You disrespect the Almighty at your own peril.  (Mar 10, 2013 | post #46)

There are lots of scientific proofs in the Holy Qu'ran. If you research them for yourselves, I'm sure you will come to see the truth.  (Mar 9, 2013 | post #64)
