Haddad makes himself known

As a Groton resident I beg to differ. Mark Haddad and Josh Degen are Dictators and are running this town into the ground. I wonder if Josh Degen wrote the above comment because apparently they need to stick together because they are going to be brought to justice for what they have done to our town.  (Dec 2, 2011 | post #13)

Town Meeting Turns Down Sacred Heart Site Again

The only way I would be on board with the Sacred Heart Church site is if the land was donated to the Town of Groton. I don't believe we as a town should give money to an organization that has destroyed families & robbed our childrens youth for 100's of years. This church should be converted to a Healing sanctuary for the sexually abused. It's time for the healing to begin.  (Nov 2, 2011 | post #4)

Town Meeting Turns Down Sacred Heart Site Again

Groton is a population of 10,000 people-we have 3 fire stations: One in West Groton, one in Lost Lake and one in Groton Center. We also have volunteer firefighters not full time. Why do we need to have a $5 million fire station? Who are we trying to rival? Look at surrounding towns we have more than they do. We do not need to have the fire station & EMT housed together. Before putting a P&S together the town residents should be on board with it. The town manager Mark Haddad needs to understand this. To bad Groton town officials are lacking in common sense.  (Nov 2, 2011 | post #3)

S&P awards Groton with rating upgrade

I wonder if we will be downgraded after the 175% ROI fiasco that Josh Degan has led our Groton residents to believe. This pertains to the Spring town meeting regarding 3 affordable housing units in the private development of 134 Main St (next to the Groton Inn). He told us that within 2 years of investing $420,000 we will get a 175% ROI. Bernie Madoff will be proud. I heard there is a bridge that he is selling as well. Any takers?  (Nov 2, 2011 | post #2)
