I remember a Nero, but your wording is quite unlike that which I recall. Again, I have reported noone. Father may actually be home by tomorrow afternoon, and I'm sure he'll be much more comfortable. He truly is the king of his castle. Loving the cooler weather with a passion!! The fires, and the ashes and heavy air can go right away, please. SAM  (Sep 16, 2015 | post #7492)

I'm doing fine, thank you. But I assure you, it was not me who reported whatever an OG is. In other news, Father is recuperating from hip surgery, but can't seem to keep the info from the Docs quite right. Once he's off the meds, he should be as nutz as he ever was! ^_^ SAM  (Sep 13, 2015 | post #7490)

LOLLERSKATES! Nero, you have clearly come off your meds. I would not know how to block an IP address as attempt heart surgery! Although you are tempting! The rest of you.....srsly! Hopefully all are well. I'm trying to keep my feathered and furry friends alive. Be Well. SAM  (Aug 17, 2015 | post #7465)

LOLZ! I always love to see what bantering has gone on. Rusty, I shall assume I am the 'chicken girl'. I assure you I am keeping my arteries clear with 'grape juice'. Haven't had a donut since I can't remember when. Mavis, I appreciate the invitation, but I have critters they would most likely not appreciate in the hotel. In fact, the black Lab scared the BeJesus out of the pizza delivery guy today. *grins* I think he accepted my apology. He didn't drop the pizza, so I give that guy a high 5. Chickens have a new nemesis, and yet they survive! A trucking company opened up where the old couple died. The traffic on my short, tiny road is up by a bazillion percent. *possibly inaccurate percentile* The drivers should insure my happiness by my chickens continuing posterity. In the meantime, the chickens have taken to crossing the road much more quickly. And not as often. To boot, the pig now has a goat. Two lines of watermelons are in. 300 seeds of giant pumpkins have arrived. And I went all girly and got some Carnation seeds. Go figure. Ya'll behave now. Be back soon. LOLZ....whomever keeps using the 'Off Topic' judgement is freaking hilarious. What is the topic? Another chicken attack....this one ended up well for my chickens, but not going to be so well for the family pets let loose in the country. Hopefully they were visiting, and shall not return. The elderly couple down the road passed last year, and the farm/shop was recently purchased, meaning an incredible increase in trucks/tow trucks/work trucks/etc, running up and down the Dead End road like it's an expressway. My neighbor is inspiring. She stopped a big rig and gave him what-for. Pretty sure he didn't want anymore of that, and made the other drivers aware. Much more respectful truckers today. Loving the weather, but wanting the water. Can't have it all, eh? SAM  (Mar 5, 2015 | post #7299)

The zoo has increased. Another pig. NOT MINE. Goat coming in two weeks.....NOT MINE. They are going to be cute and I'm gonna wanna cuddle, but they are headed for slaughter, so NO. Otherwise, hope ya'll are doing fine! SAM  (Feb 22, 2015 | post #7294)

Wow, what a deluge! The sparks were a little further out, but I'm expecting some closer in a bit. All still well, everyone? I see the animosity lives, with no chance of closure! A few losses here, not family, thus far, but darned close. Had to call AT&T Sat night for my Mom. When her phone was busy for an hour, I assumed it was her and my Aunt. When it was busy for two hours, I figured she'd moved onto one of my Bro's. After hour three, I got concerned and called her neighbor. Turns out her phone was not working. I phoned AT&T and explained that I get concerned when my elderly mother is unavailable, and would they please take a look? It seems that using the word 'elderly' gets people in action! Instead of Tuesday, they were there Sunday morning at 8. Since they did not know her phone actually started working Saturday night after my call, the technician called me. I explained her phone HAD started working, but he said they could still see there was a problem on the grid. 6 hours later, the lovely man had fixed the crossed wires that were affecting her whole apartment complex. In the wind and rain. Apparently they all would have lost phones. I'm not sure what the moral of this story is, but use the word 'elderly'. *nods* Wishing all Well. SAM  (Feb 9, 2015 | post #7283)

Happy New Year! Years ago I made a resolution to never make a resolution. How's THAT for sticking power..?!? LOL Listened to every furry thing snore at midnight, feet and body warmed by their furry love. Now if only the chickens could come inside. That could be funny... Hoping a wonderful 2015 for ya'll. Stay in your corners until the bell rings. *grins* SAM  (Jan 13, 2015 | post #7261)

Well, I should be surprised, but I'm not. However, I am far more determined. I hope the entire lot of you a wonderful Season. Whichever one of you insignificant idiots keeps using my name with the 'beaner' attached, would you just please stop? It doesn't truly offend me, and I'm reasonably certain you intend to do, but it makes you look ridiculous. Yes, you caught my attention. Duly noted. SAM  (Dec 17, 2014 | post #7236)

Help keep my topic at NUMBER TWO!!

Really. Did I personally do anything to you? May you possibly take your tiny lil brain and realize the separation from years ago? Your tenacity is incomparable.Pleas e take your worries away, and leave me out of it. For the rest of you who do not understand this joker, it is referring to my son, who is half Hispanic. Thus, SAM's Beaner. Truly immature. Please move on. SAM  (Dec 17, 2014 | post #1341)

Question # 2: Robin Williams. Did anyone see that coming except those close to him? I am a huge fan, and I'm sad. Both of these horrible incidents had to be pointed out to me (or rather, I was questioned if I had heard...) because I haven't been on news, TV or Internet.  (Aug 12, 2014 | post #7182)

Question #1: What are your thoughts on the Tony Stewart issue? I'm not a Tony fan, but have a lot of questions. Hard to believe that was the outcome he desired.  (Aug 12, 2014 | post #7181)
