Roommate left the UCF football team after Plancher's death

Wow!! You hurt my feelings. You know what is funny. That UCF is NOT accepted in it's own city. This more of Gator country. And now if you don't know by now. There's more USF car tags riding around Orlando. Everyone loves to be associated with winners. UCF is a loser program. And thats why you guys are BITTER.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #43)

I'm sorry idiot. Let me clarify that for you. I've lived in Orlando since 1998. I was born and raised in Saint Petersburg. That's how I became a fan of the Bulls. I use to be a UCF and a Culpepper fan. Until I moved here and encountered you overly obnoxious UCF fans. And no I didn't finish college. I went to UF and walked on Coach Spurrier's team. I left and started my own business. Not doing so bad myself either my friend. I have a few UCF graduates working for me. I would let you know my place of business, but I know when UCF fan get drunk. They don't think clearly.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #41)

Back up. Please don't get this twisted. All due respect, this is not to make fun of this sad situation. His cousin Mo Plancher plays for USF. So this hits close to home. It's the people that defends a guy like George O'liar. He pushed to hard on this kid. There's been too many sports training deaths to take someone lightly. And I don't know of any place in Florida that's hotter then Orlando. So I apologize to anyone that took my comments the wrong way.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #28)

Our coach didn't kill Dorsey. He died working out in the weight room. And sound like I touch a nerve. Do you have a diploma? Does it have Mickey Mouse on it? I've been here since 98'. And all I use to here is negative things about USF from you Disney University alum clowns. So yes that is KARMA baby. And yes we can claim second best in the state. Our record proved it. UCF record only prove that they have fallen behind FAU. And FIU is pulling up fast. It's a D*** shame that USF and FAU has accomplish more then UCF's 30 year football program. At least your #1 in moral victories.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #27)

A great coach??? When this happen (UCF record 22-27)? If he was a great coach, he would be at a better program. "The Sentinel is stirring this and trying to portray the UCF program as flawed." UCF has made many mistakes. Well lets listen them. The cell phone scandal in the late 90's. Mike Kruczek. There impatient move to the MAC conference. Big contract for George O'Liar. The school audited. Death. UCF program been flawed for a long time.  (Apr 15, 2008 | post #26)

Former UCF QB: Motivation far different than intimidation

Wow, you guys defend a guy like George O'liar. Mickey Mouse University has paid all this money for a coach that hasn't accomplish nothing. They have fallen behind FAU. They have recruited OK players. But they can't grow for the level of competition they play against. And now Players (not player) coming out against O'Liar. This will hurt recruiting. Parents will not want to send there kids to Mickey U to get killed. They'll be better off in Iraq.  (Apr 14, 2008 | post #133)

Former UCF QB: Motivation far different than intimidation

All this stuff that is coming out about UCF is straight karma. The killer lying coach. School is being audit. Child pornography. And if you need facts about the audit....From the March 17, 2008, The Chronicle of Higher Learning Audit Shows U. of Central Florida Lent Millions to Athletics Association A routine review by a state auditor has found that the University of Central Florida may have inappropriately lent its independent intercollegiate-at hletics association more than $7.4-million, a practice the university has discontinued, and provided more than $49-million in student fees to the athletics association without proper oversight. The operational audit, prepared last month by David W. Martin, Florida’s auditor general, took special interest in the lending of public funds to a “direct-support organization” like the athletics association, which is independent of the university. On July 1, 2003, the university’s athletics department became the UCF Athletics Association Inc. The audit found that from June 2004 to January 2007, the university issued nine loans from auxiliary university accounts to the association, totaling more than $7.4-million. Only two such loans were approved by John C. Hitt, the university’s president, and none were approved by the university’s Board of Trustees, the audit reported. In its response to the audit, university administrators noted that the loans were not required by the athletics association but were initiated by the university “as a way to help the intercollegiate athletics program increase its quality and competitiveness.” Administrators added that “the university has requested an updated plan of repayment from the association and has ceased to initiate new loans.” Additionally, the audit found that the university did not have procedures to monitor the use of millions of dollars in student fees collected to support the athletics program, which may be used only to pay debt on capital projects. The university noted that those fees are no longer directly transferred to the athletics association but rather are overseen in a university account and distributed through the university’s finance office. The audit’s findings, which were first reported by The Central Florida Future, the university’s student newspaper, will not result in any legal action or penalties. —JJ Hermes (Friday Mar 21 | post #62)  (Apr 14, 2008 | post #110)

GOL aka George O'Lier, don't have any talent now. FAU has better talent then Mickey U.  (Apr 14, 2008 | post #109)

I live in Orlando (Metro West area). I don't know where they get Palm Bay from. So that don't mean anything. The Sentinal is pro UCF. I agree that it's more about UF in Orlando then anything. There hasn't been any write up about UCF audit. COVER UP???  (Apr 12, 2008 | post #14)

TV move saves tradition

Instead of focusing on USF, FAU has past UCF by. Is this shocking? No. Instead of this pipe dream of beating USF, you should hope that UCF can compete with FIU, B-CC, and FAMU.  (Mar 24, 2008 | post #67)

Sounds like hatred and jealousy. UCF started this fight and now there fans can't stand to get poke fun of. You brag about Mickey U. winning C-USA. WOW! That's not something to pump your chest about. I think USF Pizza Bowl trophy trumps that. What make it even worse. FAU New Orleans Bowl trophy trumps c-usa trophy. UCF has fallen behind FAU. This year FIU could past them by. CAN YOU SAY UCF aka. MICKEY MOUSE U. **** ?  (Mar 19, 2008 | post #55)
