And is there a trend with so called "Christian Terrorism" as well? Whether it was a Christian gunman killing in the name of GOD, or a Muslim Military Officer doing it in the name of Allah, the fact is they are both on the extreme edges of their respective religions. If it were not for the Separation of Church and State, we would probably have more extremists than we already do now who are Christians. The difference is that Most Islamic Countries use their Religion as the Central basis of their governments which is not practiced in the United States. (3 hrs ago | post #25036)

I am not afraid of them at all, I just do not buy the hypocrisy of quoting the Bible on one hand, and using vulgarity and profanity on the other and thinking that it is okay. Is it because of a so called "real American" that in 2008 we were left in the shape that we were in and still remain? 1. Open borders 2. No solution to Immigration problems, even though the Republicans had a majority for at least four years; yet the right wants Obama to jump through the hoop and fix everything in 9 months? 3. Social Security insolvent 4. Health Care at its highest level in History, Millions of American Citizens unable to afford it. 5. Hundreds of war prisoners in an American prison facility, without charges, and NO long term plan in place. 6. Dependence on fossil fuels at it's highest levels because of a lack of focus on alternative energy. *7. A Recession that started in 2005-7 and cratered the end of last year making it the worst in 35 years. *8. Failure of the two largest Banks in the United States, cause a World Wide recession. *9. A critical imbalance of trade between foreign countries and the United States resulting in Billions of dollars going to other countries and very few of them coming back. *10. More American JOBS outsourced to foreign countries than anytime in the history of America. * denotes lack of insight and lack of interventions because of a failed Laissez-faire economic mentality Yes, the Democrats have a lot of work to do straightening out decades of Pizz Poor government, and a severe lack of Citizen involvement until now, the 9th hour. Can you show us all of these documents for Bush 43 or any previous president?? Probably not, this is the only president that has to undergo the microscope of criticism, for every move he makes, every breath he takes, not to mention the humiliation of the First Lady of the United States of America. If this is conservatism, I am glad I voted for Obama out of character (I am a registered Republican). I think it is time to stop the "Animal House Food Fight" styled attack against this president, your president, my president, Americas President, and let him and his administration and this congress run this country, like you have for the past 40 with little input. The real Truth. This announcement yesterday by the US Attorney General marks ANOTHER accomplishment under the leadership of President Obama. President Obama stated that he would close down Gitmo, and charging these terrorists with their crimes and bringing them to justice is the only way that will happen. There was NO PLAN, other than to keep the facility opened until all those imprisoned died, under the last administration. Now the tedious process can begin, and like Saddam Husein these Criminals will be tried in the place their Crimes occurred so that families and those who were effected the most by this horror will be able to find closure.
