While PowerballA jackpot winners in California, Florida and Tennessee celebrate their wins, the jackpot roll, which began on Nov. 7, 2015 and ended with last night's record $1,586,400,000 jackpot, gives Minnesota plenty to celebrate. During this jackpot roll, Minnesota's lottery players won $6,116,384 on 1,011,512 winning Powerball tickets. Comment?

KIMT News 3 - While at least one jackpot-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Chino Hills, California, Iowans and Minnesotans are hoping they are holding a runner-up. Iowa lottery officials say no jackpot-winning tickets were sold in the state, but there was one $2 million winner, three $100,000 winners, and three $50,000 winners. Comment?

The Minnesota State Lottery oversees several statewide drawings and operations of some multistate lotteries, including Powerball , offering a record estimated jackpot of $1.5 billion Wednesday night. "New Jersey has been home to past Powerball winners, so we are hopeful that we can bring it home to the Garden State once again ", Carole Hediner, executive director of the New Jersey Lottery, wrote in a statement released after Saturday's drawing. No one won the largest jackpot in US lottery history Saturday night, but 25 $1-million winning tickets were sold, including three in NY, according to state lottery officials.
