Output from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries fell by 233,000 barrels to 32.048 million a day this month, according to a Bloomberg survey of oil companies, producers and analysts. Last month's total was revised 35,000 barrels lower to 32.281 million a day because of changes to the Iraqi, Nigerian and Ecuadorean estimates. Comment?

Oil fell as declining Chinese industrial profits signaled demand may be weakening in the biggest crude- consuming country after the U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures slid as much as 3 percent, erasing last week's 2.3 percent gain. China's industrial-company profits declined 8.8 percent in August, the most in at least four years. Comment?
