Spectra Energy said Monday that it plans this week to restart its main natural gas transmission line running under the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock, more than a month after the parallel backup pipeline ruptured. The company is still working to remove sections of the ruptured backup pipeline about 1 mile east of the Interstate 30 bridge. Comment?

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton was named Monday as one of the first inductees to the Arkansas Women's Hall of Fame, joining a class that includes a civil rights leader, a Wal-Mart heiress and the first woman elected to the United States Senate. Organizers of the hall said the former secretary of state, who served 12 years as the state's first lady, was among 11 women and one organization that would be the first inducted at a ceremony in downtown Little Rock on Aug. 27. The hall is a partnership between the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and Arkansas Business Publishing Group. Comment?

A North Little Rock company says it's the first in the state to receive Federal Aviation Administration approval to operate unmanned aerial systems, or drones, commercially. Zane Anderson's Aerial Patrol Inc. has operated a commercial helicopter service out of the North Little Rock airport for decades, and it created Airborne Information Systems to launch a drone service for businesses.
