We recently ran a story about the self-proclaimed 'Price of Montauk' Dylan Eckardt changing up the landscape of the East End with real estate deals that are making some people a little, well, uncomfortable. Self-proclaimed "Prince of Montauk" Dylan Eckardt was fired from his job as a Nest Seekers broker prior to his DUI arrest last week. The firm's founder Eddie Shapiro declined to say why Eckardt lost his job, but told the New York Post that the surfer-turned-broker "is working out his demons." Comment?

An eccentric real estate agent who bragged to Vanity Fair that he is the "f-king prince of Montauk" was arrested Monday for being wasted on alcohol and drugs after he was pulled over by police in East Hampton, cops said. Dylan Eckardt, a former pro surfer turned Hamptons super agent for Nest Seekers, failed to yield at a stop sign on South Etna Avenue, prompting a police officer to pull him over in a 2006 Land rover at 4:20 p.m. Monday, according to a police report.
