The class will meet 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting March 10 running through March 19, at the McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry. Part of McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Programs, the course will teach students the basics of accounting and financial concepts in a fun and creative way using the popular book “The Accounting Game.” Topics will include income, expenses, cost of goods sold, depreciation, inventory valuation and the differences between cash and accrual methods of accounting.
