An unidentified suspect hit a teenage store employee in the neck with a hammer Tuesday evening at the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets and then fled the store, according to Leesburg police. The victim, an 18-year-old Leesburg man, was transported to the Inova Fairfax Hospital by ambulance and is currently listed in stable condition, the police said. Comment?

The police are looking for a man they say hit a store clerk with the claw end of a hammer at an outlet mall in Leesburg, Virginia on Tuesday. The Leesburg police say that a clerk at the Polo Ralph Lauren store at the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets at about 6:30 p.m. was escorting a customer to a fitting room when the suspect hit him in the neck with the claw end of the hammer, causing two puncture wounds.
