Officials responded after a call from Union Pacific Railroad reported a northbound Metra train had struck a pedestrian who was walking on the railroad tracks near the 7900 block of Sheridan Rd, according to a release from the Kenosha Police Department. The victim, Adam Richter, was pronounced dead at the scene. Comment?

Sanderson Farms is recalling more than a half million pounds of chicken and other poultry products due to possible contamination, according to a bulletin issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service on Friday. The voluntary recall affects approximately 554,090 pounds of chicken produced between September 17-18, 2015. Comment?
