Two trains sit stopped on the tracks near the 10200 block of West Beaver Street after a vehicle was hit by a train on Jacksonville's Westside Saturday, June 27. A 23-year-old Northside woman was arrested on Tuesday on charges of manslaughter and vehicular homicide after a man died on June 27 when the car they were in went around railroad crossing arms at Wheeler Avenue and was hit by a CSX train, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. Michelle A. Hopkins of West Union Street was arrested Tuesday afternoon on the charges, and has since bonded out of the Duval County jail, according to the Sheriff's Office. Comment?
