Patrick Industries Inc. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the business and certain assets of Edwardsburg, Mich.-based North American Forest Products Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, North American Moulding LLC . The Elkhart, Ind.-based supplier reported in a news release that North American is a major manufacturer and distributor, primarily for the recreational vehicle industry, of profile wraps, custom moldings, laminated panels and molding products which together represent one of Patrick's existing core product lines. According to a company release, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015, Elkhart, Ind.-based Skyline Corp., a manufacturer of modular housing and park model RVs, reported: Net sales from continuing operations of $49.6 million, an increase of 8% over net sales of $46 million in the year ago quarter. Net loss from continuing operations of $149,000 which included a $243,000 gain on sale of idle property, plant and equipment. Comment?

During the week of the Elkhart County RV Open House, Skyline Corp. will display four park model RVs at its headquarters in Elkhart, Ind.
