SCI, based in Ligonier, Ind., is a fiberglass manufacturer of custom molded large front and rear caps and roofs, primarily to the recreational vehicle market, and specialty fiberglass components for the transportation, marine and other industrial markets. Representatives from the Salvation Army Kroc Center said the facility along with the thrift store on the 500 block of S. Main St. in South Bend, are both set to close on June 12. The center is consolidating with the adult rehabilitation center in Gary to create the Northwest Indiana Adult Rehabilitation Center. Meg Sauer, Director of Marketing and Public Relations with the Kroc Center, says Salvation Army captains from the South Bend location will be going to the Northwest Indiana facility to oversee the consolidation process and are tasked with making sure that people in the South Bend area continue to be served. Thor Industries Inc. has entered into a repurchase agreement to regain ownership of more of its common stock, the Elkhart, Ind.-based company announced Tuesday . In a private transaction with The Thompson Family Foundation, Thor purchased 1 million shares of its common stock at $60 per share, according to a news release. Comment?
