Krispy Kreme Doughnuts wants to open in Anne Arundel County again and has signed a lease for a new store in Gambrills. Its latest location would be for a 3,700-square-foot space on the northeast corner of Route 3 and Davidsonville Road, at Crofton Station. Comment?

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. has signed a lease to open a new store in Anne Arundel County, marking the chain's first Baltimore-area store in more than six years. The doughnut maker plans to open a 3,731-square-foot location by the end of the year at Crofton Station in Gambrills, said Greg Ferrante , a senior vice president at JLL who is representing Krispy Kreme.
