As construction workers perform at a torrent pace to lay the new artificial turf field at Kitsap Bank Stadium, Matthew Swager cannot help but feel wistful. But Swager, who instructs video technology for SKTV, the high school's television station, also knows the facility never will host another game similar to the "Mud Bowl," which was the impetus behind him converting that contest from tape to DVD in January. By Kelly Chandler The WW Sweets baseball team, based in Sammamish, won the United States Specialty Sports Association's 14-and-under state championship July 7 at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. In the title game, the Sweets defeated the defending state champion Black Hills Bandits, of Olympia, 5-4. Comment?
