    Fireworks Sizzle For The Fourth In Stamford

    The Fourth of July means fireworks. Colorful exploding displays above the mall in Danbury and at Cummings Beach in Stamford on Thursday night kicked off the long holiday weekend in Fairfield County.

    Stamford Peace Basketball Club Among Top Fundraisers...

    Stamford Peace Basketball Club, Inc. , a high-level youth basketball program serving boys and girls in the 1st through 11th grades across lower Fairfield County, earned a spot on Stamford Hospital's Hope in Motion Team Honor Roll as one of the top 20 fundraising teams in the June 7, 2015 Walk/Run to support the Bennett Cancer Center. The Stamford Peace team comprising approximately 80 participants raised more than $6,400 in donations through the team's fundraising website.
