Rogers Heritage football coach Perry Escalante forced a little smile as he visited with well wishers near midfield in Gates Stadium following his team's thrilling 23-21 victory over crosstown rival Rogers High on Friday night. The War Eagles held Roger scoreless in the second half and forced two turnovers in the final two quarters, after the Mounties chewed up yardage in chunks in the first half. Comment?

BY SEAN INGRAM email@example.com GREENWOOD - Russellville High School senior Kentrell Scott rushed for 157 yards on 15 carries Friday night, but the top-ranked football team in Class 6A held the Cyclones to 31 yards passing and out of the end zone as the Greenwood Bulldogs won 40-0 at Smith Robinson Stadium. Scott's previous single-game career high was 133 yards against Rogers Heritage in Week 2. It was the second game this season Scott rushed for 100 or more yards. Comment?
