The fourth-seeded Wildcats are coming off an emotional victory over Vacaville, their first over the Bulldogs since 1997, the year some of their seniors were born, and they have their first home Sac-Joaquin Section playoff game against a team they beat by 37 points in Week 4. If Wood was one-dimensional, there'd be a concern, but it's crazy balanced. Comment?

The resurgence of Wood's program reached new heights last weekend. The Wildcats beat rival Vacaville for the first time in 18 years, and were rewarded with their first home playoff game in 19 years, and the second in the history of the program. Comment?
