    It was a "good vibe" team all fall for Oak Creek football coach Mike Bartholomew in what was supposed to be a heavy rebuilding year for the Knights. But now Bartholomew wants to take that "good vibe" and make it great.

    Chalk up the level of intensity, the speed-of-light tempo, the raw physicality and the outright overtone of nastiness the Franklin football team displayed in their 42-15 dismantling of highly-regarded Classic 8 Conference co-champion Muskego on Nov. 7 as lessons learned, digested and put on display in a very immediate and visceral way. In this instance, Saber coach Louis Brown credits Racine Horlick, which dragged the Sabers down into the dirt in a messy, ugly playoff contest on Oct. 30, for helping re-align Franklin's focus.

    The Brewers woke everyone from their offseason slumber last week when they announced the 2016 All-Fan Giveaway of a Bob Uecker Talking Alarm Clock, and on Monday they kept our attention by revealing the rest of next year's Miller Park promotional freebies. Besides the much-buzzed-about Uecker clock , the team will hand out six new Bobbleheads, introduce three unique giveaways for children plus Kids Eat Free Sundays and continue "Free-Shirt Fridays."
